This Mother's Day, my kids and I stumbled upon a delightful surprise: Calvert's Mini Market in Palmer Lake! They had the most stunning flowers, perfect for a last-minute Mother's Day gift (thanks, kids!). We also browsed the Larkspur farmers market, finding the most fantastic sodas and sourdough crackers from them too! Fast forward to today, and my kids were begging to return for another round of Zubberfizz orange creamsicle sodas (can't blame them!). This time, I indulged in a soothing lavender tea and a refreshing bernie palmer.
Calvert's Mini Market is more than just your average convenience store. It's a charmingly curated shop with a focus on local goods! They seem very mindful of dietary needs too, offering gluten-free sandwiches that I can't wait to try on my next visit. We even stumbled upon some incredible marshmallows that were simply divine! Everything we've tried so far has been delicious. If you're in Palmer Lake and looking for a yummy treat or a refreshing drink, look no further than Calvert's Mini Market! They champion local products, and their cute set-up makes the shopping experience a delight. We can't wait to explore their offerings further and...
Read moreWhat an amazing addition to Palmer Lake! This little gem saved us a bunch of times when we were out of milk, eggs, bread or produce. I love their bread selection, my absolute favorite is the frozen garlic bread! Stephanie and Tyler are such beautiful human beings, they’re always very friendly and helpful. Stephanie does an amazing job sourcing local foods, supporting small businesses and hosting craft classes for kids. What a great neighbor to have! P.S. look out for their beautiful “open” sign at the front, when you see it - they’re...
Read moreThis is a funky/adorable little market with a decent selection of basics if you've run out and don't want to schlep down the road to Safeway. They also obviously focus on local food and canned and jarred goods, some of them quite unique. Catch them on the right day and you can get fresh bread and baked goods as well. Prices are on the high side which is to be expected for their high end, artisan type offerings. A lovely addition to...
