EDIT IN RESPONSE FROM OWNER: again - sorry I feel that way is what I get in return. Not sorry for the hours and horrible service we received nor a credit card opening after we were told all parts of our application were erased. Learn how to do business. Also - Do not believe the fake, positive reviews. It’s generated bots. AND we were made clear from establishment NO accounts would be open and we were not in system.
They are horrible. A salesman gave us the wrong price 3 different times on a bedroom set we inquired about! He couldn’t get his story straight! He kept walking away from me when I was trying to ask him final quote as we sat down to begin financing! Another salesman and couple he was assisting were dumbfounded with this horrible business etiquette. When we had enough with the back and forth & decided to go to Ashley (which was cheaper & no fees & best service ever) - the manager or owner rudely asked us as we were walking out why weren’t buying a kitchen table that we weren’t interested in to begin with. When we said that we were not going forward with that, he walked away from me & was replied with “WHY NOT?” It’s not our fault your pushy, incompetent salesman gave us too low of a deal to begin with! We also asked previously what delivery charges were and he said none then when we let him know we would move forward, he said there were! Oh and here’s the kicker! When we told them that we were leaving and not coming back all we did was provide them with our name and Social Security number and they ripped up our finance application. They had no other information on us. We just got a credit card in the bill the other day with her name on it for this company! Absolutely horrible. We called the bank and they have never heard of anything so crazy before in their life. These people are incompetent and do not know what they’re doing. Not one time did they say sorry for this bad practice. They blocked me on Instagram when I was trying to have a conversation about what happened & kept saying god bless you. Lol. Read moreJust purchased what I thought was an Ashley Sierra Sleep "Tracy" mattress in a box. I was told that this comes with a 10 year warranty, and that the warranty info would be in the box. When I opened up the box and decompressed the mattress, there was no warranty paperwork, and the mattress has a tag on it that says "Liberty Mattress LLC", model "WAWA".
I went back to the store to ask for the warranty paperwork, since the mattress has no proof of being made by Ashley, and I can't access Ashley's warranty customer service unless I ordered it from them. I felt I was being positive and reasonable with the Decor Home Furniture salespeople, and was told by possibly the manager, that "If you're not happy then return it". He also offered to come pick it up for a $75 fee, which I felt I shouldn't have to pay, if I'm not getting the warranty that I thought was included in the price. I told him I liked how the mattress felt in the store, I just wanted to make sure I could use the warranty if I needed to in the future.
I was then told "Give us your home address and they'll send it to you". "They" being Ashley. I asked if they could email it to me instead, and was told by the salesman that they'd rather have my home address. I was also told that the warranty was 7 years, and "Who told you it was 10 years?" This whole interaction made me really uncomfortable and I didn't want to share my home address.
So, I'm going to wait to see if I get this warranty information emailed to me. The Sierra Sleep line is nowhere on the Ashley website now, though. I also researched this "Liberty Mattress" company that was on the tag of the mattress, and that company does make a product called "Tracy". I am really hoping that I receive the Ashley warranty information soon and that I am overreacting to this scenario which feels "off". If so, I will apologize and...
Read moreIn the end, I'm happy with the adjustable bed frame and mattress I bought, but I did not have a good experience with the customer service side. First, shipping took 3 weeks instead of the 2 they told me. It was December, so understandable, though I had to reach out first to get an update.
The much bigger problem was that they gave me a cheap metal bed riser instead of the adjustable bed. I realized partway through setup that it was too light and didn't have any mechanical parts. After another few calls, they told me my order was still in the store and I could come pick it up (and bring back the riser).
I talked to 2 people on the phone, 3 in the store, and 1 in the pickup bay. Not a single apology. In fact, they acted completely unenthused, as if they were fixing MY mistake. It was right after Christmas and the store was completely dead- I guess they were more interested in chatting around the desk. Their attitude was a complete 180 from when I was still a prospective customer.
The adjustable bed box is large and heavy. It wasn't easy to arrange pickup the first time, and then I had to finagle it a second time on short notice. I don't think basic consideration and an apology are big expectations, but...
