I have read all about their amazing fried chicken on social media so I figured I might check it for myself! It was my first time at Redner’s on a Friday afternoon around 5 pm. It was calm. The warehouse is well lit and has a great selection of produce and cookies. You can’t miss the fried chicken smell as soon as you get in the store. The deli is conveniently placed in the middle so I went straight for it and ordered a 2 piece of each combo for approximately $9. I have to say that I am not a big fried chicken fan in general and last time I had it was more than six months ago besides the random nuggets or chick fill a sandwich. Anyway, the pieces of chicken are generously breaded, both crispy and juicy at the same time and very flavorful! I understand the craze, especially for that price! It’s a real good deal for the money! My little one really enjoyed the crispy thigh and ate it all! We might go from time to time when we’re in the mood...
Read moreAs I'm temporarily staying away from home, this was my first time shopping at this location although my preferred local supermarket is a Redner's. This store is meticulously well-stocked, with many more unique and specialty items that I'm not used to seeing at my local Redner's. Having worked retail years ago, I was impressed by the attention given to merchandising. This location in particular seems to go above and beyond to elevate their store to a higher standard.
All the associates I encountered were friendly and helpful. Quality of items made in-store was as good as I've come to expect from the Redner's brand.
The only criticism, and it's extremely minor, is that it would be useful to have extra carts at the self-checkout to transfer bags into. Once again, not a big problem at all, just a suggestion. All in all I look forward to shopping here more...
Read moreThe people are nice here and they do carry my two favorite drinks and they are open 24hrs still. BUT their bakery isn't the greatest, the meats are kinda cheap and the produce dept sucks. Don't know where they are getting their produce from but it fails miserably next to Giant or Weiss. One thing they do have is a good discount cleaners and paper product dept and a great Hardware section. Also buying kitchen utensils like say a candy thermometer late at night because ur kid forgot to tell u he volunteered you to make your famous pralines for the school bakes sale is made cheap and easy here. Over all a nice old fashioned store with a good...
