Pizza Chef Italian restaurant — Restaurant in Palmer Township

Ordered the Chicago deep dish pizza. Nothing about the pizza was actually deep dish. In fact, a pan pizza from Pizza Hut is closer to the real deal than this doughy mess was. Essentially, it was just a thicker crusted pizza (similar to old cafeteria pizza from elementary school days) with tons of cheese piled on top and dallops of tomato sauce to finish it off. The cheese and sauce were both also bland. The dough had not been cooked completely through, which resulted in pockets of doughy crust. The Caesar salad I got along with it was fine. Nothing to write home about, but okay. Tasted like a bottle of Paul Newman’s caesar Dressing over fresh Romaine lettuce and a few croutons. In trying to decide whether to give them one or two stars, I went with two solely because the restaurant cooked and delivered my food quickly, and what was supposed to be hot was still hot and what was supposed to be cold was still cold. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! The only bad reviews for this restaurant refer to the previous owners. These guys are incredible! We ordered again last night - 4th time - and once again it was perfect! They make their own dough for pizza and bread. By the taste, I'd say they're making everything else from scratch too. We make up our own sandwich and pizza combos and they make them perfectly. Last night we got a pizza with mushroom, red onion, sauteed spinach, shrimp (each slice had a perfectly cooked large shrimp on it!), and a combo of mozzarella and ricotta. Best pizza we've ever had in Easton! We also got a cheese steak with sauce, mushroom, onion, and peppers. So moist and flavorful and the bread is a dream. We were fighting over the last piece! I give this a one star simply because of the attitude I received when they made a mistake. I ordered a sub, stuffed shells, a few other items and cheese fries. The fries where undercooked, so I called.. The guy answers told him my issue and he offerers no apology of any kind, instead I get an ohhhh really.. Like I am trying to scam for an order of cheese fries, my bill was $40 and that was the cheapest item. So after a major attitude for this 'guy' he sends me new fries and makes sure they were a bit burnt. I thew them in the trash and made a decision to never give these people my business again, the food is only step above mediocre any way....
