Disgusting! It’s an absolute shame how this place is run! This was my second visit, I hoped that the owners poor attitude would go away after I spent a nice chunk at his shop and promised to return, 60$ the first time. and 110$ this time, after being treated rudely for the duration of my visit, I receive a very rude “We don’t take plastic!” From the owner when I try to pay with a card, I grab some cash and pay 110 for my books, afterwards I ask to look through the selection of junk silver, I try to make the most out of my trips, as the shop is an hour away from home. After I begin looking through the dimes for needed dates for the collection, I get told by this man, “I don’t have time to stand here while you date check all these, I’ve got work to do.” I’m sorry?? You’re working in a coin shop! That should be your work! Shame on you J&J coins, no wonder coin collecting is a dying hobby! I trusted that I was purchasing accurately represented quality of Morgan coins. In short, I took the Morgan's I purchased here to the PAN coin show to submit for grading, where I was told 2 were cleaned. I returned to this shop where I was basically accused of being dishonest and a thief, by the owner saying I could have switched the the coins out. He said he didn't know it was cleaned. If you can't identify a cleaned coin, you have no business putting arbitrary grades on coins that are for sale. Never going to do...
