I've alwayz wanted 2 visit a Piggly Wiggly since being here n GA. I alwayz saw/heard of Piggly Wiggly on TV. I'm frm California, we don't have Piggly Wiggly's there, AND Piggly Wiggly waz the ONLY store n ALL of GA who had wut I've been looking 4 for the entire 6 yrs that I've been here, "Chicken Necks with the skin still on them" 😋. I waz very willing 2 drive 2 Alabama 4 this delicacy but all the meat markets I contracted said they didn't carry it 😔. N all that I've just said, it is not the high point of Piggly Wiggly, Sue Ann is! This MARVELOUS women waz so accommodating & made me feel so welcomed & appreciated by going the xtra mile & going n2 the freezer n the meat department 2 find wut i had driven a distance 4, as the meat dept was closed & had left 4 the day. Who does that but a person who appreciates & values their job, AND who treats a customer as 1 of her own. Sue Ann, ty & Piggly Wiggly 4 putting a smile on my face & excitement n my spirit!!! 😌🤗
By the way, this is the Piggly Wiggly...

The fresh vegetables and meats don't look like Walmart's. The difference is that they are real, not on steroids. Their meat doesn't have water added to it and is butchered onsite. Their fresh vegetables appear to be sourced locally, which means you sacrifice the fake colors for real flavor. In other parts of the country where I've lived people have come to realize that flavor and quality are more important than fake ambiance. The dry goods are limited and a bit pricey, but their meats, when factoring in that they have no water added, are a deal and very tender. One of the last places in the area like this. More of a place for people who really cook, not heat...
