When I went in the first time to look, pick the things we wanted lit, they were very nice and even sold me a washer and dryer and it's not easy to me either Way! I'm a sales woman myself! But the 2nd encounter I had with them, which was to make initial payment and I want to add something to what we were getting.. I added a rug like I wanted but I wanted answers about a mini electric bike they had for girls there. When I told them my daughters age they wouldn't even tell me the price! I told them, my daughter was riding on the back on a Honda grom at age 5 and has been on dirt bikes four wheelers mudding, grew up in the country riding those things. But BC I was a new customer getting a couch set washer and dryer and a rug they could put anything else on my lease .. And that's okay. My point in this post is, when they were making a sale to me they were inviting and kind! Once they knew they'd sold these items, their attitudes towards us entirely changed. They also told me i could give them proof of address upon delivery, but next time i spoke to the woman that said this to begin with, she said i had to come in with the address proof when I made my payment and that's OK BC in was going make my payment but the woman told us one thing, and then when it came time for to pay and them deliver the rules changed. My husband also gave them his ID to copy and he's not even able to find it since! And he. Never takes it put unless he required to do so! Guess what Im getting at is the woman behind the counter needs to be friendly all the time, not just to close a deal. And two, when we the customer asks a question about a items price, Tell them the price weather they can but it right then or not, because they asked! I expect the same upbeat respect I give them in return instead referred to them by my mother whom was a customer with them and is in good standing with them so i didnt expect the negative attitude and I hope they were just having a bad day and next time will...

I have been a customer of American Rental since 1996. My first purchase was from the store in Jasper. Since the store opened in Paoli I have purchased; laptops, furniture, appliances, lamps, and bedroom items. All my purchases have been high quality with warranties and delivered to my home when needed. My most recent purchase is my new laptop for work! As customer service is very important, I have to report that at American Rental I have been treated as if I am the best customer ever! I am greeted with a smile when I arrive and leave feeling great after each experience. My most recent purchase was over the phone and what I needed to purchase was not in stock at the Paoli store and they called other stores to meet my needs! Customer service is absolutely great!! I have bought several items from this store and have loved them all. Deidre, Regina, Brandon, Robert, Mitch, & Jenny are always so helpful to answer questions, or get the specific item you are looking for. I love going in there to make my payments. They don't treat you as a customer, they treat you as family. And that makes for a more experience. To know they really care about their customers. That is what makes them a business worth it's customers and their company. 5 star rating is excellent, but I would give them 10 stars if it was optional.
