Lost River Co-op & Cafe — Restaurant in Paoli

This is a different kind of grocery store. It has bins where you can get things by weight, pour it in a little bag, have it weighed, and pay. Of course, they have some of the regular groceries, cans, meats, pops, wines, etc...packaged and ready to go. Here you can get just a cup of sugar or just 2 cups of flour for a certain recipe. And they aren't big on the big brand names. You're going to be able to check new rarely known brands. I know some who love it and rave about it. I know others who don't know what to do there and hate. I think its a fun way to shop. I wouldn't do it every week or everyday, but its nice to visit and see...

I love stopping in the Lost River co-op when I am staying in town or just driving through. Whether Im grabbing a cup of coffee and muffin in the morning or a bag of groceries when I plan to stay for a bit. They carry dairy, breads, fruit, vegetables, and meats from small local farms.
