Sandwich and Salad Factory — Restaurant in Paoli

My wife and I visited the Sandwich and Salad Factory tonight - second time for me, first for her. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Wife had the Strawberry Chicken (crispy) Salad. It was large bowl of greens, fresh sweet strawberries, onions, sliced crispy chicken (grilled optional), grape tomatoes, almonds, and other salady stuff. Poppy seed dressing which is one of her favorites. The chicken was moist - not dried out at all. She was happy.

I had the Chicken Cuban Sandwich & Fries. The Cuban has roasted ham slices, grilled chicken, swiss cheese, provolone cheese, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes & onions. It was on a hoagy bun, the perfect size for a full meal. The fries were hot and crispy. Drinks were fountain coke products or tea. I absolutely LOVED that sandwich and will definitely get it again.

I was impressed - the restaurant is kind of small - not sure how many it can seat, but the atmosphere was cozy, the staff polite and service good. While there, I saw one of the staff bring out a strawberry dessert that looked incredible, but we were already on the way out with full bellies. Next time!

I mean... c'mon - the highest priced item on the menu is $10.59 (as of 02/2025). Try it. You'll like it!

Only one problem (but not for us...). Parking on the square in Paoli is sometimes tough to get out. Plus you have to climb a couple steps, so folks with disabilities may have an issue.

My HIGHEST...

My husband got the Chicken Cuban Sandwich and curly fries. He said it was very good and he would get it again. I got the Bacon Telera Sandwich, it was delicious. The bacon was crispy. And I got the curly fries. Was torn between the curly fries and grilled veggies. The curly fries tasted great and weren't greasy. Next time I'm trying the grilled veggies! The restaurant was very clean and the cook wore gloves which was a plus. The young man up front was very nice and knew the menu items well. Look forward to trying...

Best place to eat in Paoli hands down. The sandwiches are phenomenal some of the best I've ever had. Try the buffalo chicken sandwich it is amazing (ask for breaded!) The grilled vegetables are a must.

I would suggest updating the business sign. It looks like some plain old lunch meat sandwich but what they are serving is completely different! It would draw a lot more business in with better marketing signage and menus. If you need help designing it let me know and we can work...
