Ultimate Guide to the Best Lounges in Las Vegas (Part 2)

This place has certainly gone down hill since my last visit a couple years back. The specialty cocktails were both delicious, but the hostess was extremely rude and not helpful at all. The guy working in the humidor clearly didn't know that much about cigars, seemed like he was high as a kite, and was more concerned about customers "not touching anything" then actually purchasing anything. We had to share a fellow patron's ashtray for about 20 minutes before our waitress finally came around with ours and to take our drink order; she was at least friendly though. Although the decor is nice , and the conversations with other customers was fun, they try and pack patrons too tightly in a confined lounge/space. It wouldn't be so bad if they invested in a better exhaust/air filtration system. Until then though, seating area should be by reservation only or at least minimized to where you're not forced to sit so intimately next to the parties beside you - especially when they're smoking a lousy cigar they purchased and brought in from somewhere else. We would have sat at the bar, but several of the video poker games were busted at the only available seats. The potential is certainly here for a more relaxed ambience and overall positive experience if the place was a little better managed and maintained.

Heat place for excellent drinks and fine cigars. Large walk in humidor. Plenty of screens stopping all your favorite sports. Room is split by walkthrough wall for two distinct seating areas. Food from next door at Bobby Flay’s Brasserie B.

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this extremely amazing establishment on Thursday last week, our first night of our vacation. We both know what we like to smoke however we were greeted warmly and shown around the impressive humidor and took a quick look at the wide selection of available cigars. From entry level smokes to high end selections and everything in between there was a fantastic selection and reasonable pricing even for Las Vegas standards. Also, this place is not intimidating. Every staff member that we talked to was gracious, knowledgeable and their passion for their jobs was evident from the moment we stepped into the humidor.

Hands down, the best part of the location is the staff and the ambiance of the bar. Great people, wonderful bar tenders and attentive management. Dark wood, leather, TV's, spacious and very well ventilated. This place is incredible and very relaxing for your smoking enjoyment.

Jason, our bartender for the evening is a phenomenal mixologist with years of experience and a wonderful personality. We had a great time with him trying his take on various drinks on their already diverse and creative cocktail menu. He took the time to learn our tastes and our cigar selections to assist us in pairings that were both slightly adventurous as well as complimentary to the cigar and the bar.

All in all, this is a fantastic venue. The staff, the ambiance, the cigar selection, the service, the drinks, the experience are all carefully crafted to insure comfort, enjoyment and a great evening out. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great smoke a drink and some relaxation away from the noise and bustle...

Awesome experience!

I came to 'Vegas with work friends and we wanted a cool experience to sit down and talk that wasn't a super loud bar.

We discovered Montecristo Cigar Bar walking around and decided to take a chance.

One hiccup when we arrived was that the POS system was down so they couldn't have anyone enter (?) but they eventually figured it out and we got a seat.

Upon entering I was impressed at the premium, study driven ambiance. We looked at the cigar bar and was surprised at not just the selection available but also the approachable and knowledgeable cigar bartender (I'm not sure that's the appropriate term but I'm rollin' with it). When talking with our Cigar Bartender we all made very nice selections and sat down on the comfy couches. While there we were greeted by our server and she informed us of a special bourbon available at Caesar's so I took her up on a double while some of my other friends got more conventional selections.

I really appreciated not just the high level of service, knowledge and friendly approach but an overall excellent, classy experience. I've only been to a handful of cigar bars but this is by far the...
