paid extra for what I believed to be a superior room, but upon entering, I was appalled by the cleanliness and condition. Most notably, I stood on a sharp hook lying on the carpet, which pierced my sock and cut my foot. When I presented this to The front lobby, I was advised this was from the large curtains in the room. I recieved zero empathy and no apology. Instead, was advised to hold onto the hook myself, stating there was nothing she could do and that I would need to escalate the issue myself.

The carpet was damp, and dirt was coming off onto my feet and socks, which is far below sanitary standards. Furthermore, the state of the bathroom was disgusting. There was mould and mildew on the inside and outside of the shower enclosure and body hair from prior guest. the water leaked out of the shower onto the exterior of the enclosure when the shower was powered on causing a potential slip hazard.

During my stay, I repeatedly addressed my issues in the lobby, only to be met with hostility. I was told I would be moved to a different room and that the resort fee for my stay would be removed after front lobby spoke with a manager. However, I was informed there were no rooms available, and I was advised to return later. Despite following up each day, I was continually told there were no available rooms.

I spoke with the manager Donna that reiterated that I would be moved but provided the same excuse about availability. Like previously Donna told me to call back down to the lobby later in the day to in house services not to waste more of my vaction time standing in the check in/out que. I called to in-house services later that day and was advised, that Donna was unavailable, and I had to wait in line like other guests checking in and out to discuss my issues further. This resulted in hours of my vacation being wasted on trying to resolve these matters.

Every day of my four-night stay continued in this manner, with no resolution or change of room. Additionally, I had Expedia call the hotel daily on my behalf, but there was no progress.

On the morning of checkout, I spoke with Hector at in house service, who assured me that the notes regarding the resort fee being waived for my stay and a $30 food/beverage credit were in the system. He advised we could have a late check out, However when i returned later that day to check out, the resort fee was still on my bill. I questioned why I had been misinformed and requested to speak with a manager.

When I addressed my concerns, I encountered rudeness from the manager, who insisted the front desk was busy and that I should discuss it with Donna. I asked could I speak with Donna. She advised she wasn't working today that I could email her.

When I requested accountability, she became super irate and threw Donna’s card on the desk, and insulted me calling me white trash. I was shocked firstly how irrate she was being to me, secondly the lack of professionalism throwing the business card up onto the desk in my direction and thirdly being racially insulted for asking for a resolution and accountability to the issues that severely impacted my vacation that left me anxious my entire trip. This was embarrassing, especially in front of other guests as they were staring in my direction. I slid the card back on the desk and asked her to repeat what she just called me which seemed to further irrate her and she called security to escort me out.

The security staff, in contrast, were courteous and expressed concern for my situation, as I gave them a full explaination and showed them the photos on my phone as I wanted to clearly indicate to them that I wasn't being confrontational, I was being severly mistreated. They were the first members of staff to apologize for my experience and showed empathy. Credit to those guys. They advised me to reach out via email as they didn't think I was going to make much progress that day.

I left a review on Expedia, where the flamingo replied and requested my details to allow them to involve the relevant team. which I provided but never...

This was nothing but chaos. You don't know where to park or drop off your baggage. There is no one to get help from here. The staff walk away if you try to ask a question. There is absolutely zero guidance on how to get your bags to your room or where and how to park. I had to get into my room to call the front desk to ask how I get my luggage up to the room and there's no carts to take your stuff to your room you're supposed to find a bellhop to get your stuff to your room which they are nowhere to be found. We ended up having to haul all of our stuff without any cart to the room. While my family was waiting outside the hotel everyone out there was smoking marijuana and that's all it smelled like out there. This is a smoke-free Hotel however the casino is not and you're forced to walk through the casino to get to your room so you end up reeking of cigarettes. In total by the time we got checked in and actually in the room it took us an hour and a half and this was with no help from the staff. I did use the self-check in Kiosk which is good that I did that because the lines were extremely long. It's like Disneyland with the length of lines here you can't get help from anybody. You have to go to multiple locations to even get to your room. Once you park, you have to go downstairs through the main entrance area walk through the casino to access elevators off the habitat area and use your key card to go upstairs to your floor. They put us at the very end of the building even though I have service dogs and have a handicap. This was not ADA friendly. Once I got to my floor I had to go to the complete end of one hallway then had to walk down to the end of another long hallway. My family tried to figure out the best way for us to access this room and attempted to use the stairwell which was full of human feces, urine, blood and condoms. It was absolutely disgusting and we were unable to use the stairwell because you would be stepping in feces which was all over the wall and stairs making it impassable. This was absolutely disgusting! I was supposed to have a center of the Strip view as well as a rain shower and a chaise in the room. My view was the top of a roof. I did call the front desk and reached someone who seemed to be from somewhere else who then transferred me around back to the front desk and I told them that I was in the wrong room it was very different from what I booked. They said there's nothing that they can do and that I can contact Wyndham. In our room they only gave us two pillows per bed. The shower had half glass and half of a curtain and as soon as you turn on the water all it did was blow the curtain all over and water sprayed outside of the shower. You couldn't even shower without the shower curtain being attached to your body. It was gross. The water pressure was very high that it stings hitting your skin because the pressure is so hard. The sink had three large cracks in it. The refrigerator in the room was very small and couldn't even fit a gallon jug. The temperature in the room would only let you set it to 65 and no lower than this and it does not actually ever reach 65. It's not cool enough for the room at all. My service dogs were extremely exhausted from our extremely long walk to get outside of the entire hotel casino lobby area parking lot to get to the dog park. They had to go up and down stairs and just walk such a long way as well as going through the heat and were so exhausted that they had to take a break and lay down in the lobby because it was exhausting for them. This was a very excessive walk to get outside. It was very inconvenient. When you use the self park you have to have your room card before you can even park which they don't tell you. When you get a parking ticket and scan your room key they automatically are adding a $20 charge for parking to your bill. When we went to leave the parking garage we inserted the parking ticket and they were trying to charge $35. I was already billed the $20 for parking. We pushed the button for help and after 2 times they...

I was so pleased to get a room at the Flamingo because I wasn’t able to a couple of years ago, due to it being fully booked. I absolutely love Flamingos so this was one of the reasons I wanted to stay here but also because of the history of the resort…with it being the oldest Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. I had seen negative reviews but these didn’t stop me wanting to book the Hotel but now I wish I had taken the negative reviews on board because our experience was terrible. Within an hour or so of check in, our Daughter used the toilet in our room and when she flushed it, it overflowed all over the bathroom, to the extent that we had to use every towel to soak up the mess. We reported the issue twice over the phone but after two hours of nobody coming to our room, my Husband and I had to go down to the reception desk to report the problem. We informed the receptionist what had happened and asked to move rooms. He wasn’t helpful at all and said we would have to request a room the following day between certain hours and all he could do was offer us either a $50 food/drink voucher or to knock a nights resort fee off our bill. I was very annoyed by his attitude and walked away because I was getting so mad with his inconsiderate attitude. We returned to our room and our Daughter informed us a maintenance man had been and unblocked the toilet. It was about half an hour later that another staff member arrived and mopped the floor with some fresh towels and he removed the saturated ones. At no time did he use any sanitiser on the floor and when we asked him to, he said he wasn’t a housekeeper. We then had to request fresh towels because he left our room without leaving any! 3 days later, first thing in the morning we awoke early to go on a trip and the first use of the toilet, it became blocked again and we were unable to use the bathroom for a shower before leaving for our trip. My Husband went to report the problem at the reception desk again and this time the receptionist was much more understanding and offered a $50 food/drink voucher because she said it would have to be a Manager that would need to agree to another night of resort fees being taken off our bill. The receptionist did say that we definitely needed to move rooms and that she would request this whilst we were out for the day and to go to the in house services desk after returning, so we could get keys to a new room. She apologised for what had happened twice and said it was unacceptable for us to have to be inconvenienced like we were being. On our return we were told by another staff member at the in house services desk that what we had been informed was incorrect but we asked to speak to the manager. The manager told us that we needed to request a room change before a certain time in the afternoon, which was impossible because we were on a trip. She said that the system was showing that the toilet was unblocked and the room had been cleaned. We were not happy with the managers response but were too tired to argue so went to our room. It had been cleaned in the bathroom and fresh towels left…this was a Wednesday. A few days later, we encountered the same issue again…the toilet was blocked for the 3rd time. We reported the issue over the phone and explained we were trying to get ready to go on another trip and needed the issue resolving asap because we hadn’t showered. The maintenance man came promptly but it took him a considerable amount of time to resolve the issue. When we told him it was the 3rd time it had happened, he was surprised that we hadn’t been offered a new room and more knocked off our resort fees than we had. He finally sorted the problem and was very pleasant but he left the bathroom floor covered in excrement where he had dripped his tools all over it and we had to clean it ourselves. During our 8 night stay the towels were only replaced twice, the beds were made twice but not changed at all and we had to use bags for rubbish. The location of the hotel is great but our experience was awful and we wouldn’t stay...
