Vegas Guitars — Local services in Paradise

Recently took my new Ibanez Prestige RGDR4327 in to get a new bridge pickup installed (Black Winter Rails), and to get a full setup as well. This guitar is a 7-string and has a floating bridge as well (Lo-Pro Edge 7). This thing is a beast to set up but Dr. Matt, with his PhD is guitar taming, did it perfectly. Guitar sounds otherworldly, and the setup nearly brought tears to my eyes. I still don't know what to say. PERFECTION.

Business-wise, everything was explained clearly upfront and they honored everything they said. No surprises. This ain't the cheapest place in town, but still fairly priced, especially considering the level of heavenly wizardry they bestow upon your beloved musical axe.

It's just a great place. Friendly staff and expert super-masterpiece dream-weaver axe carvers back there bending the laws of reality with their laser-precise guitar adjustments.

So I have been looking for a shop for a while. I recently found Vegas guitars because of their 5.0 rating and man can I say it is deserved. First, I called to get some info about a set up and having some pick ups installed and everyone I talked to was nice and very helpful. I decided to go with them for the work because of their attitudes, customer service, and fair pricing. I took the guitars in and they walked through each guitar and what I wanted to have done and took detailed notes. They quoted me for the work and quoted a few weeks to have it done. They called me a few days in to ask a few clarifying questions, which I appreciate the care and dedication to quality. Not even a week from drop off they called me and said my guitars were done. I went down and showed me the work and let me play the guitars. Man these things are dialed in and Im so happy with the end product. 5 stars for sure. I will be coming back with more guitars. I recently got my Gretsch guitar setup by Vegas guitars and I'm very happy with them. Neil is an easy going and reasonable guy and I respect the way he does business.

My guitar played great before, but now it plays even better. I had a few frets that muted out when bending them and a simple setup was enough for them to fix it.

I was worried I'd need fret work or that the neck was warped. I told Neil this and he could've easily taken advantage of my worries. He told me the cost for a setup and the cost for potential fretwork and I agreed, but when my guitar was ready I was told a basic setup did the trick.

Also, I was told it could take up to two weeks for the work to be done and my guitar was ready in less than a week. Under promise and over deliver is the way to be!!
