Well it's been several years since I've had the privilege of visiting this annual fair in Paris,tx . Actually it's been about 15 years. What can I say, it's a typical county Fair. It wasn't like I remembered the carnival ride's we're few and far in between. Either the ride's were for the very young or teenager ready. I didn't see alot of family oriented things. I'm not old, but some ride's we're not meant for over 40 year old people. So More family oriented ride's would be welcome. The concession stands were plenty, actually more than needed to be there. I didn't know what I wanted, some offered the same items with a twist, but it was the same, maybe less would be more in that situation. Also the fair opened on a Wednesday. How about opening it on a Friday through the following Saturday, a week and a day is enough, not four days then it's over, that's not enough time to get there if a normal person works.. All in all the fair was ok but not great. That's my opinion as a 45 year old man with two teenagers...

That is to say it is not entirely fair to rate the Fair Association badly as this was for the Balloon Glow, but the overall feel of the event was lacking. They had one building full of vendors which amounted to about 15-20 booths and then maybe 6 outside. The main attraction was helicopter and monster truck rides. It just needed more.
