THE BURGER PALACE — Restaurant in Paris

I used to eat hamburgers with everything on them but recently starting eating them plain and dry to get more of the burger flavor. I found out 2 things 1) most patties are frozen and preformed and dont make a good hamburger, and 2) ive been covering up the patty flavor with all the veggies.

I decided to check out this place for their 4.8 star rating and was not disappointed. As we walked in, I asked the nice woman sweeping the floor if the burgers were good and asked her if the patties were frozen/preformed. She said they were made fresh every day. I ordered a double meat bacon cheeseburger plain and dry and its probably the best burger Ive ever eaten.

I talked to the owner and he told me he and his wife make the patties and season them. He also said that the fries and tots, which are also amazing, were fried in beef tallow. I will make a special trip back to Paris to eat...

This is the best place. I hope they never close down. It is like going home. A home for me, that doesn’t exist anymore. It is so clean. You will leave smelling like a burger if you eat inside. BUT, it is not a greasy, smoking drab place. It is well maintained, cold, old time decor that bring back the most wonderful memories, complementary beans, tea, fountain drinks, bottled drinks and now they serve dessert. The service is fabulous and I enjoy every time I get to go. You won’t be disappointed if you love a flat top burger. AND, the best part, the burgers are real meat!! And not soggy. Our local burger joint before this swapped to frozen patties, also felt gross and never worked for me. I was raised by my stepmom, who maintained her business and cooked the most fantastic food (flat top burgers included). This is the closest I’ve been to that. And I am so grateful this...
