Roadhouse Family Diner — Restaurant in Paris

Wanted to take a sec to brag on Roadhouse on North Main. I don’t always have bad experiences everywhere I go, just so yall know! My cousin took me on a breakfast date here the other day and when I tell y’all everything was a 10/10, I mean it!!!!! I had zero complaints. A lot of times it’s usually at least something that I say about places I go eat. Sometimes u may get ok food but bad customer service, or get a good customer service and your order is made wrong, anything. This day everything was perfect!! I hadn’t been here in years bc if I remember correctly when I went a few years back we didn’t have the best experience, the prices had increased tremendously, and the portions were small. Not this time! If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot in town that’s not fast food, this is it!!! The food was good, there was a nice vibe, and the waitresses were on point. P.s. if you know my cousin Kisha, she’s got it worse than me. She always special orders her food and she was pleased as well, so yea, they...

Ok y'all this place has improved on food since a year or two ago. I ate dinner last night and brunch there today. Catfish dinner was good. And my breakfast today also good and cooked properly. This place seems to stay busy. Wait staff however Needs Improvement! Last night service was good however I disliked the swearing in front of customers and the children by employees. The salad bar was about out or out of most items. Today food was good and cooked well also. However the employees were quick to get your order, yet to get coffee refills almost impossible as they were to busy playing around with customers ( regulars or ppl they knew I suppose ) than to check on or even make eye contact with the other customers. Not sure what the Problem is... But, this Family Owned Restaurant, is rarely open any more... accept for Breakfast and Lunch... they use to be open for Dinner, too.

(Could be no one wants to work, with all the free money the president keeps handing out!)

The Waffles are The Bomb! I got full on the Waffle! The staff was friendly and service was fairly good. They weren't packed, but.. busy.

Been here before for lunch.. Great Chicken Fried Steak! (The Potatoes were instant Potatoes..) Hopefully they've gone back to using real potatoes, for their mashed potatoes.

And, they had Fried Pickles.. the Ranch tasted kinda off, that day.. But, Before the Pandemic, (cough cough!) It was a homemade Buttermilk Ranch.. not sure what this was.. bottled or just off ingredients?
