Wyatt Wilde made my day and got me back to loving home depot, out of the 7 home depot empoyees i encountered on this journey he was the only one to show me respect the whole time and go above and beyond to make sure i stay a happy and loyal customer. I bought a Milwaukee set on the 29th of November in parkcity paid cash and the haxsaw battery was sticking from the day I, i didnt like the reviews i read all in all i wasn't satisfied with the tools so after the first day started looking for the receipt in my spare time. I was unable to find the receipt so I looked up their store policy saw that I had 30 days visited my local West Jordan home depot everything was going fine up until the end I got red flagged at that point they acted as if i had stolen the item and told me to call this number that was closed. Calling that line the next day i soon realized they could do nothing to resolve my issues. So i went back into the same home depo with my girlfriend and the assistant manger was rude and they stated they donot do returns with out receipts when asked about store policy on there sign and website she reluctantly attempted to return items then suddenly stopped when my girlfriend qent to use her id on the return and came back and told me it had been over 90 days since i bought the set (i have verified in text and with coworkers exact date purchased) so i left this home depo upset, not satisfied and being called a liar and looked at like i stole the item, i then visited 2100 south home depo and with a similar result as the west jordan, my issue was not resolved and the guy qorking the register like at west jordan " im not calling you a thief but this item was stolen and we cant return it. At this point i was beyond mad i called the park city home depo and had the honor of speaking with Wyatt Wilde to give him the exact time and day and register i made the purchase he could not solve my issue right away becuse i paid cash referred me to the Milwaukee sales rep, knowing this wasn't what i wanted he spoke to everyone he could and called me back with a solution i am now very satisfied getting my rigid 500 set from home depo in park city. I wrote this book because I really feel the store manager in West Jordan and the employees I encountered could learn a lot from Wyatt you showed me respect he made me feel important and he resolved my issue..
Again thank you Wyatt and all the associates at Park...
Read moreI recently had an unfortunate experience at my local Home Depot store, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Manager Greg's behavior was not only rude but also condescending, leaving me with a negative impression of this establishment.
Firstly, when I approached Greg with a simple inquiry about a product, he responded with a dismissive attitude. It was evident that he had no interest in assisting me and made me feel like my questions were a nuisance rather than a customer's genuine concerns.
Furthermore, when I attempted to seek clarification on some product specifications, Greg's tone became increasingly condescending. He seemed to belittle me for not having an extensive knowledge of the products, forgetting that customers come to Home Depot for assistance and guidance.
What bothered me the most was Greg's lack of professionalism. As a manager, one would expect him to set an example for the staff and provide excellent customer service. Instead, he displayed the opposite, tarnishing the store's reputation in my eyes.
In the end, I left Home Depot feeling frustrated, disheartened, and disrespected. It is disheartening to think that a store that prides itself on helping customers with their home improvement needs can employ someone like Manager Greg, who clearly lacks the necessary customer service skills and professionalism.
I sincerely hope that Home Depot takes my feedback seriously and addresses this issue promptly. No customer should have to endure such a negative experience while simply seeking assistance in a store. It's a shame that a single individual's behavior can overshadow the hard work of the dedicated employees who genuinely strive to provide excellent service.
I will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere if such incidents persist, as I believe that customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of their level of expertise in home...
Read moreI have a dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen!!! I have taken off work 4 days since November and still do not have my new dishwasher installed. 1.workers came and said I wasn’t there- not true. 2. Plumber sick. 3. Worker couldn’t turn off water. 4. Plumber came but couldn’t get dishwasher out because Home Depot had not installed my kitchen floor correctly and didn’t install flooring under the old dishwasher. The plumber sent Home Depot a report stating there was black mold and the dishwasher that I purchased from Home Depot was not level snd hadn’t been installed correctly. So since November I have no dishwasher, my flooring installed May 2023 needs to be ripped out snd done correctly, I have black mold and probably need new subfloor and possibly kitchen cabinets. I have left three messages with customer relations, have called countless times to speak to a manager and one never comes to the phone and am emotionally drained from the overwhelming problems. I have lost 4 days wages and am facing a huge mess that would have been avoided if the work had been done correctly in the first place. In the mean time my new quartz countertop is ready to install but can’t be done until all the problems are resolved. I don’t want to get an attorney but not getting anywhere. What was suppose to be exciting new floors and countertops has not been a positive experience. I went back and taught special needs kids at the age of 68 for two years. My goal was to use the money for home improvement and no matter how hard I try there is one problem after another. Home Depot contact me and get these...
