Clockwork Cafe - Silver Summit — Restaurant in Utah

While in line for Alberto's drive-thru I spied the Clockwork Cafe, and I am very happy I parked my car for a made-to-order lunch. I selected their vegetarian wrap (not on their online menu, but listed in their shop), it had everything I could have wanted! Hummus, sprouts, kalmata olives, freshly cut avocado (not from a bag), English cucumber, romaine, tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, fresh parmesan, and more. They also asked if I wanted it spicy, and w/o hesitation I said "YES". I LIKE HEAT. When asked I selected an 8 from their 1-10 heat scale, it was legit. I'd go with a spicy 8 again, but only if dining in so I could refill my iceT. For future to-go orders I'll tame it down to a 6. It wasn't just 1 heat source, they took pride and layered up the heat. They used a jalapeño spread, an Italian vinegar (works well with heat), some smoky habanero sauce and a few dots of a ghost pepper sauce. Delicious vegetarian wrap that I will...

Not awesome, but not horrible.

I was the only one here, at 10am on a Monday morning. I walked in and had to peak around the corner and make some noise to get someone to notice me. He noticed me, but had something more important to do for a while as I stood there wondering whether the place was actually open.

The dude finally came out, and seemed like he was in a rush despite me being the only one in here.

Everything came packaged 'to go' despite me telling him I was staying.

No WiFi.

All the lights were off, making it feel closed and awkward.

I’m already dreaming about going back. I had the croissantwich with sausage and pepper jack cheese—so buttery, melty, and just the right amount of kick. My partner ordered the veggie burrito and said it was one of the best breakfast burritos they’ve had.

Everything tasted so fresh, like it was made with real love. You can tell they care about the food and the people. The owner was incredibly kind, conversational, and even gave me a bottle of hot sauce to take home which such a sweet and unexpected gesture.
