Came here with my children and had trouble ordering with one of the staff members. Her name was Evelyn. She was confused on my order as I had asked for bacon on the side but she added it into an omelette when I went back to ask for the side of bacon that she mistakenly put into the omelette, she became angry and began to argue with me. Totally unprofessional behavior as she still made me pay and then came to throw my plate of bacon on my table without saying any words. I still said thank you but she did not respond. Solid food quick. The Ruben Sandwich is delicious. However, the service was terrible. At the moment you MUST call in to place an order, and the girl on the phone had a hard time getting my credit card info correct- I had to read it three times, which is a bit frustrating when the machine is likely 6 feet away. Couldn't they just swipe cards? Meh. Just passing through town, stopped for gas, and saw the cafe. I thought it'd be better than fast food but not so much. I had the chicken fried steak. It was tough, and covered with gravy that wasn't as tasty as Elmer's glue. Pretty bland stuff. And for $10.95, I wouldn't exactly call this place cheap eats.
