They get these things as free donations and suppose to use them to help people in need but they over price and charge an arm and a leg for used stuff they don’t pay a dime for and ruin half their inventory! They put stickers in inappropriate places and it rips off paint and designs, they cling glass together as they sloppily throw them onto shelves causing them to break and chip and still wanna over price their free stuff they ruin. Seen a nice little vintage tea cup I was gonna get and it had a chip, put it back and seen the employee grabbing glass from her cart and clinging them all together and sloppily throwing them on shelves and I was like “huh THATS why” like cmon now. If you hate your job that much that you have to break and ruin your inventory then get a new job. Half these employees need to be let go and fired tbh. Stop overpricing and then RUINING your inventory. You turn good nice items into trash and still expect $10 for it🤦🏽♀️ let’s also not forget about things like DVD players or game systems or wax warmers etc, things you can’t plug in and test while there but they expect you to hand over $40 and they have a no return policy. Just feel like yall are scamming people at...
Read moreIf you're looking to buy clothes at this or the Vienna location, look elsewhere. They have closed the dressing rooms, which wouldn't be a huge problem if their return policy wasn't so anti-consumer.
If you return your clothes(because you can't try them on unless you buy them) you only get store credit that can be used at that location and must be used within 30 days. You also can only return your items at the location you purchased them. Considering they get their items from free donations, this is absolutely absurd. If you shop between the Vienna location and this Southside location expect to be put way out of your way just to even see if the clothes you bought fit.
Their horrible return policy and closing of the dressing rooms have honestly ruined my outlook on shopping for clothes at Goodwill and I don't think I...
Read moreCame here today, inside it was freezing cold and I'm not susceptible to the cold. I really hate that non-clothing items are stored on top of the racks (Vienna one does this as well), you get in people's way plus the racks are as tall as I am and very hard to browse. They also price gouge - a board game is $3 but a shirt is $5 - how and why? You also find stuff with yard sale tags lol I found a toy car with $1 yard sale tag and a $10 Goodwill tag underneath it, also found a 2.0 Disney Infinity figurine for $8. I think they're trying to combat flippers and resellers. A lot of shirts and pants have missing tags. I'll stick to the...
