Kohl's — Local services in Parkersburg

I used to love this store but my children, my mom and I were followed around by an employee today. They came over the intercom and called for an employee to come to the shoe department which I thought was weird; there was nobody else there, I was feeding my 5 month old baby. There was this girl watching us, she was acting strange and I burped my baby put him back in the stroller then we headed to the checkout. Once we got out to the car I was taking the car seat off the stroller and as I was putting it in my car I noticed that same girl had came out with nothing in her hands still acting strange and after I got him in the car she walked past our car to go back in, then realizing this was an employee. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I was unsure where to go for Amazon return and Madelyn was quick to help me navigate to the rear of the store for my return.

Madelyn was especially patient with me. I had forgot my Kohl's rewards card. Madelyn walked me thru the steps to look it up.

At Customer Service I was astonished by the speed of my return and friendliness of the associate ( I did not get her name). When I was handed my receipt for the return, I was informed that I had a 20% off coupon. While I had indented to drop and go (Amazon return), I was now faced with the dilemma of what to do. The Parkersburg WV store clothes sections were messy. Especially after only being open for an hour and a half. The staff for the most part was great, other than the 2 people behind the jewelry counter. They were too involved in their own life discussions to even look at me and my wife. Even though we kept saying...."I wonder how much this is." The store was generally clean, except for the clothes that was displayed on the tables. It looked liked someone took a laundry basket, threw the clothes in it shook it up and dumped it back out on to the table. And this was in the men's and women's departments.
