If I could give more than 5 stars for both customer service and meat quality, I would! Before I go into the details, HUGE shout out to Kacie and Christie as they saved Christmas for me. I reserved my holiday prime rib in September with a pick up date of December 16. We were returning from a trip around that time and weren't able to pick it up on the reserved day. I figured it wasn't a big deal and I could get it the next day. Well, the next day was a Tuesday, a day that Dry Lakes clearly states they are closed on for good reason (how they can provide the best beef to their customers!). We were leaving Wednesday to head out for the holidays. I felt so foolish as I should have known they would be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which is why we made the reservation for Monday. It just completely slipped my mind. In any case, I was not going to give up on this prime rib, took a chance, and called the number for the shop. Kacie immediately responded with a text and after some back and forth, she was able to work out for one of her stellar employees, Christie, to meet me at the shop early Wednesday morning before we took off so I can pick up the prime rib. I was beyond grateful. Christie was incredibly sweet, so accommodating, and a great conversationalist. I got my prime rib along with very yummy accompaniments and Christmas was saved. Their creamy horseradish is to die for. I would eat a bucket of it if I could.
Now to review the prime rib: best my family and I ever had. I have ordered prime rib from other ranches before for Christmas and this one has been voted as the best. It was juicy, tender, melt in your mouth goodness. And I'm pretty sure we overcooked it just a little on accident and it still turned out delicious. The rub, au jus mix, and creamy horseradish complimented the meat perfectly. And we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy it 2 nights in a row. I highly, highly recommend Dry Lakes Ranch Beef for all your protein needs. It is quality meat provided by quality people. It is worth the extra money if you have it. I will be returning for our 2025 Christmas prime rib and any other...
Read moreFolks, a friend introduced me to this place, DRY LAKES RANCH BEEF, a few months ago. Since then, I have learned so much about Beef cuts, what's best for you per your food prep preference.
This store is run by a group of 3 ladies who KNOW THEIR BEEF!! They know everything about their product from conception to consumption. They raise their own cattle. The cattle is harvested and processed locally. This beef is FRESH!
Ask your local butcher or Grocery Meat manager where that steak in front of you in the cooler came from?. Can they tell you exactly? Can they tell you which pasture? What it ate, how much and when? Can they tell you when it was pulled from the herd and harvested? Can they tell you when it started the Dry Age process? Was it dry aged?
These 3 ladies are more knowledgeable about the beef you purchase from them, than anywhere else.
Do you know where your meat comes from in the store? Do you know how long it took to get to your table? Probably not. You probably don't want to know, either.
Dry Lakes Ranch Beef is continually rated PRIME. Not choice or select. PRIME!!
Would you be able to tell if the meat placed in front if you, with no labels or packaging on it, was "Frankenmeat" made in a petri dish from plants. Or FRANK THE STEER? You could if you were to purchase from Dry Lakes Ranch Beef! There would be no doubt left in your mind, ehat beef is supposed to taste like.
Whether you are local, or just passing through, you owe it to yourself and your family, to purchase quality, PRIME, real deal BEEF!
CHECK 'EM OUT!! Right there in...
Read moreI wanted to leave a review after trying different meats/cuts from my order...I am not disappointed at all! I've have bought half a cow before and went to recommended butchers and some was good, some was bad, and some meats I don't think we're from my cow; long story. I hope this place stays just as they are as we know can things change after fame. The owner is a doll and went above and beyond to assist me, even spoke after hours with my silly questions. The counter helpers polite, knowledgeable, attentive, and even made me feel comfortable as I suffer from anxiety especially in new places; odd ball out. Cuts are perfect, meat is delicious, and I have even learned new recipes for things I didn't even know existed, that will become staples in our dinners. I will say that I am savoring the time I have with this meat as my husband loves steaks and if he could he'd have them every night, there has since been a rule placed about that...yeah haha. With this new experience I had with this company we will definitely be a repeat customer and if I'm feeling adventurous swing up to dry lakes and spoil us occasionally and maybe even a friend or two. Decently priced, adorable store, beautifully packaged, and yeah no...
