Wyndham is an incredibly cruel and unethical company. Their timeshare sales agents took advantage of my state as a pregnant woman to make a sale. In their sales meeting I was subjected to ruthless high-pressure and intimidating tactics. Wyndham never gave us what we were promised in our contract, and instead, gave us the runaround, questioned the validity of our terms, and strung us along giving us false hope for a solution that never came. They invited me for a free stay but on the condition that I attend an hour-long presentation, and I ended up being there for 6 hours! We were given a tour of the lush rooms and amenities and they told us all about the perks and benefits of buying a Wyndham timeshare. Unfortunately, it was all smoke and mirrors. They conveniently did tell me the maintenance fees would increase every year or that my children would be liable for whatever cost they could inherit. They offer you “free” trips in bonus points for signing up but those were nearly impossible to use. The interest rate was never disclosed and now we are looking at having to pay double what we were quoted. When it’s time to sign the contract with them they do it so fast you never really know what you’re really getting into. Don’t let these people fool you, look at the other reviews. What Wyndham has done to me, and my family has been devasting. Wyndham conned me and it’s been a disaster on our finances. I hope to continue to expose these...
Read moreHorrible company, horrible business model Initially agreed to rent a condo from them. AFTER paying for the rental, received a 6 page contract stating that Wyndham or its representatives had permission to enter the premises at any time without notice (i.e when we're showering or being intimate), adding additional charges if we moved furniture, forcing us to pay $150/night for a security service to patrol the area if noise isn't at a "reasonable level," and requiring US to pay THEM for any damages if they fail to maintain the property and we're injured because of it. Oh, and if someone breaks into the rental property and steals all of our stuff, not only do they disclaim any liability for the theft, but the contract also forces US to pay for the damages to the property due to the burglary. But that's not all, folks ... After we declined to sign the agreement, they canceled our reservation and then put us on a spam mailing list from hell, sending us "deals" from rentals all over the US. We requested to be unsubscribed and even wrote to the FTC about it, but still are getting Wyndham's spam e-mails. Do yourself a favor and do business with a more reputable company. This place...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and don’t buy a timeshare from Wyndham. We have had too many headaches dealing with them! The “short” presentation ended up being 5 hours long. All those hours wasted while we sat there being lied to. The sales staff are shady liars! These are some of the things we were told that are not true that were omitted all together: LIE: This is a great investment. We found out timeshares have no actual value. OMISSION: 14.99% interest rate. We never knew the true loan cost, just the monthly payment. LIE: We’d be able to sell the timeshare at any time. No one will buy it! Even eBay has listings for under $5.00 with no bites. OMISSION: There was a cancellation period that they obviously did not want us knowing about. LIE: There is availability everywhere! In reality, it is very difficult to make reservations and the website is not user friendly. OMISSION: Maintenance fees. We were not told that we’d owe these fees even after the mortgage is paid off, let alone that they increase annually at shocking rates. This purchase has been the worst financial pit that we have ever been in! There has been no payoff for the thousands that we have dumped in to...
