DG Market — Local services in Parsons

This place needs a lot of work the rigisters wasn't working. Their web coupons don't work right lady had the line held up over hour with one other line open their was about 16 people waiting to be checked out. The girl waiting on the lady that had the line tied up finally opened up another risgster. I left that line. Went to the one that didn't work the only other one open. Some people left their stuff and walked out.i should have too. If I hadn't of needed what I got I would have. I hate this store if we had another place to go to in this town of Parsons I would. Fred's closed down so we have nothing else to go to for odd and ends things. Like stuff for like cat litter. Other stuff but I won't shop in this store again. This day be it for me I will drive to the one in Decaturville if I need anything. Or Lexington to Wal Mart but that store is ok but if need be I will drive to Jackson at least you won't have to wait in line an hour before you get checked out when you do get checked out it took me a good 15 minutes because the computer wasn't working with the rigister at all it would scan and that's it then after 5 to 10 minutes it said the price. I only had 4 items. I don't understand if you got two of the samething they can't hit 2 and go on to next item but nope have to scan each item which is crazy. I guess they want to make sure at Corp. They are selling it and not walking out the door for free. But they need to get a new system that is faster so people can get in and out of they need to. People shop on their break but don't go there you will not get checked out in time to get back. Would be a nice place to start a great store. That is as high as this dollar store is everything is very high and not that well...

They never get in a hurry or act like people are in line especially when the line is backed up all the way to the isles. It's better than the Decaturville location and Parsons definitely has more stock, but the service sucks. Nobody wan't to wait all day watching 5 dollar general employees working on isles and one person at the register with 20 people in line. They need some overhauling when it comes to customer service. I call it the incompetence store. Dollar General could make this a better place to shop but they're too busy screwing over their employees, which is probably one reason the service is extremely slow. Wal-mart in lexington is much cheaper and convenient and they treat their employees and customers...

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. It's easy to see from the main roadway and has a well paved parking lot. they seem to have a lot of good deals and a variety of items since they're not limited to just $1 as some other stores are.you should definitely dig through the sale rack as some things are unusually inexpensive. I enjoy my time shopping at Dollar General and we'll go back again. I highly recommend this to anyone. They are handicapped accessible and they do have handicap parking.
