I've been coming here basically my entire life and I've seen this store go from really good to mediocre over the years. I've had good experiences but this employee Margaret made me rate so low on this review. That woman really makes me upset, every time I'm there and she's working I have the worst customer service ever. The first time I seen her I walk into the store with my boyfriend and she immediately started yelling at my boyfriend falsely accusing him of loitering around the store with his friends and that he was banned from the store. (obviously she can't BAN anyone, especially since she just started there so we stayed to shop)🙄 The thing is, my boyfriend had NEVER been to a Goodwill before let alone this one. I was really upset and when she checked me out at the register I told her that she shouldn't accuse strangers of things when she had no basis to go off of. I told her that he had never been in that store before and that her behavior was unacceptable. She rolled her eyes at us and told us to "Get over it and that it was a mistake." Thank God my boyfriend was there to stop me because I was about to go off. I figured that maybe she had a bad day and I left it alone. Oh how wrong I was because the next time I went in there she watched me like a hawk while I was shopping. She was following me and it really freaked me out. When I went to the register again she was there to check me and boyfriend out again; it went okay until my boyfriend questioned the receipt. He asked "Oh is this receipt?" when she handed it to him and she scoffed and said"Do you not know what a receipt is boy?" making fun of him in this slow derogatory way and looked at me and the other customers and laughed in disbelief. I was FLOORED. She had disrespected and embarrassed my boyfriend and myself. I gave her a biggest glare I could have and left immediately. My Mum raised me better than to ream some rude old woman a new one so I kept being the bigger person. This woman Margaret is so insanely rude, unprofessional and crass. Whenever she's there I avoid her like the plague, and it's a huge hindrance to my shopping experience. I love thrifting, I grew up in this thrift store with my Mum. It's only because I have good memories there that I'm ranking it better than zero stars. Margaret's a terrible employee and I hope she either gets reprimanded or terminated because treating customers like this...
Read moreCame here with my family to look for some second hand clothes (we try to do our part for the environment). We found some clothes we wanted to try on but the changing rooms were closed? We asked one of the African American women why the changing rooms where closed and she mockingly responded " 'why??' I don’t know" and simply walked away. I have honestly never been met with such attitude and indifference for a simple question. When we followed her to ask how we can be sure if anything will fit, She said "you gotta buy it and bring it back if you dont like it" of course only for a instore credit. My family and are military living abroad so instore credit isnt an option for us and its disheartening that a company claiming to serve their community treats every customer as a potential criminal . I have been shopping at goodwills all my life and never experienced something like this. The general unprofessionalism of some staff yelling at each other across the store also put a dent in the experience. The only saving grace was Craig at the register who was kind and respectful toward us and is the only reason I didn’t rate the whole...
Read moreOne of the worst goodwills I’ve been to. First their inventory is seriously lacking and they are way over priced. Second, I saw a pair of jeans I liked and when I grabbed the price tag to check the price the plastic piece slipped right through the jeans, so I placed the price tag in the pocket. When I got to the register the cashier said they couldn’t sell an item without a price tag so I explained to her what happened and that the tag was in the pocket. She checked with who I assume to be the manager, and he starts accusing me of switching the price tag to get the item cheaper, because someone did it last week and if it happens again he remembers faces. Totally unprofessional, all he needed to say was sorry we can’t sell the item without the price tag attached and I’d have been on my way. Just not a great...
