This review would be a 1 star experience if it weren't for Laura, the lady who offered to bus my table. Laura was attentive to my needs and saw that my best friend had not taken more than two bites of her sandwich. She promptly offered her a different menu choice. Unbeknownst to her, she saved her establishment frome losing two more customers. She provided better customer service than anyone else. Reviewing her alone would be 5 stars.
To rate the entire experience: the establishment was so disorganized. I came in with my best friend to catch up over breakfast. With my October rewards, I got a free bagel but their shelves were bare. No bread, and 3 bagel choices. I tried the asiago which was great. I ordered the pick two but my grilled cheese was luke warm. My best friend was not familiar with soups and asked the 2 cashiers what they recommended. They had no answers for her as she decided between two soups. Fortunately, one cashier offered to let her try the two soups, but only brought back one. My best friend settle for it: the potato soup. As she tasted, she asked the cashiers, "is there bacon in this?" They both blankly answered, "I don't know." Now, I let everything else roll off my back but my friend has many allergies, and the cashiers don't know their products. I waited to see if they'd try to find out, ask a manager.. something. Nothing. We moved on to get our orders and the guy calling the orders skipped around in calling numbers. We finally sat to eat. My friend enjoyed the soup but she said her avocado BLT was bland. I don't believe...
Read moreMy wife and I went to this location for breakfast yesterday and ordered wraps. I ordered bacon, egg, and tomato wrap, but they didn't put the bacon. As I started eating the wrap, I didn't realized that there was no bacon in it, but as when I realized that there was no bacon after I had three bites, I told them there was no bacon, the lady with pink shirt, who made my wrap, just put three trips of bacon and told me that since I already had half of my wrap, she could not make the new wrap with bacons in it. After I asked for the manager, she also told me she could not give me the new wrap with bacon in it since I already had a half of the wrap. First of all, I didn't have the half of the wrap, and it was their fault to begin with that they didn't put the bacon in the bacon, egg, and tomato wrap. And it was not acceptable for me as a customer to just accept the three strips of bacon on the dish beside the wrap when it should be the bacons inside the wrap as it should supposed to be. I didn't know that Panera Bread is such a cheap establishment, and treat the customer like a one who try to get another wrap without paying. I was so insulted by the way the employees and the manager on the Pasadena location, and I feel that I just lost a place me and my wife can enjoy...
Read moreI ordered through rapid pick up. It was due at 8:08 pm. When I arrived in a rush at 8:30 I found out that they had never made my order. While waiting for my order to be made, I became late for my babysitter. When I got home my vegetarian meal was made with meat and I could not eat it. I contacted customer service through the website and the response I got was that they would give me a gift card and I could call the regional operations manager, Ted. Ted sent me a very nice carbon copy apology and an invitation to call him. I called him and he never called me back. I emailed him, told him about my experience and requested he call me on Monday as I am in another state. Ted said "I'm not sure where I am Monday but if you have time and have not heard from me, please feel free to call." I feel like Panera was given an opportunity to talk to me and make this right however they did not want to invest the time (which I appreciate because so much of my time has been wasted.) On a side note, this is the second time they gave me meat with rapid pick up (which I can not eat) I dare say ordering Panera is dangerous for anyone with a...
