Our search started back in November 2024 when my dad asked for some help researching the Ineos Grenadier. He had heard all about the brand's backstory and had seen everything their cars can do. He was on a long business trip so he sent me to get some first looks on the Grenadier. Sara helped me book my first appointment and checked in on me via email and text, and Mark was there to receive me, guide me and educate me some more on the Grenadier. Test driving that car was so fun. We weren't ready to commit to a buy or lease yet as we were still thinking about it, and I never felt any pressure to do so from Mark when I told him we weren't ready. If anything, he gave me so much information to take back and share with my dad so we could make a decision on our own time. His knowledge on the Ineos Grenadier is extensive and quite impressive. After the appointment, Sara gave me a call to check in with me and see how everything had gone that day. I love how attentive they both are and love that they always follow up and are there to always answer any additional questions you have post-appointment.
Fast forward March 2025, I came back for a second visit with no appointment as I was in the area and asked for Mark as I had seen him previously in person. He received me with such great energy and I updated him on our lease plan. He gave me a detailed list of the cars they had in stock so we could look at them and then get back to him with our favorites. Since our interest was updated in their system, both Mark and Sara checked in on me daily via text to make sure all my questions were answered. A couple days later, I sent Mark our list, picked one to check it out in person and returned to the dealership. He introduced me to Sara as I had only spoken over the phone with her and via text throughout this whole process, and they both sat down with me and guided me towards the next steps together. They are both INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the Ineos Grenadier, giving me even more fun facts and information about the car and sharing their own experiences with it. We talked about our off-roading experiences in the past and exchanged some fun personal stories, they both made me feel right at home. That conversation with the both of them really solidified our decision to move forward with the lease. The kindness, the patience and the professionalism of them both throughout this whole process surpassed all my expectations. We waited a couple weeks to settle some details on our side but as soon as we were ready, we texted them and Sara got all the paperwork ready for us. She is QUICK and was checking in daily to make sure everything was working properly on our end. We had some issues with the credit app at first, but Sara was right on it sending us new links until we got it working. She's a hard worker, never missing a detail and always so calm and happy. We went in to sign the final paperwork and pick up the car a couple days ago and I cannot be more thankful for Sara and Mark for making this one of the best experiences I've had. The service they provided was absolutely top notch, accommodating our needs and our timeline as needed. Most important part first for any buyer: the pricing. We agreed on a very fair price for the car. Barby and Luke were able to also include some extra accessories and really made me feel well taken care of.
Second, the customer service was top notch. There are no pushy salespeople here. You are free to browse the cars at your own pace and the salespeople are there if you have questions. I initially was working with a sales representative who ended up transferring to another dealership. The communication and coordination was excellent and I was invited back multiple times to look at the vehicles. That representative spent a lot of time with me and we had great rapport!
On delivery, I worked with Luke: he always had prompt responses, excellent coordination of paperwork, and was just an overall friendly guy who is genuinely interested in the vehicles. A true enthusiast. Always greets you with a smile and treats you like a friend. Answered all the questions I had and didnāt make up answers for anything that was out of his scope.
And honestly the vehicle is so solidly built. The door closing sound is like nothing else out there. The quality is incredible, you just have to see for yourself. There are some questions surrounding how reliable this car could be. What gives confidence: 5 year warranty, de-tuned B58 engine (I think the BMW engines that are less stressed tend to have better reliability) and many big name developers with decades of experience. And the parts are from major manufacturers, so it should not be too difficult to source anything that is needed.
If you are in love with the old Defenderās rugged looks but need something that will actually take you where you need to go and come back home, and starts up every day when you need it to, this will be it. Thereās no other choice.
Cash or financing: if you canāt afford a car worth more than $20,000 to be paid in a lump sum, you probably shouldnāt be buying any vehicle worth over $20,000. Unfortunately Ineos does not have any in house financing that can ācut you a dealā. It all gets funneled out to Bank of America, Wells Fargo or Santander. So pay cash or if you must finance, go with Penfed. In July 2024, rates were at 5.59% for 60 months.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll get to the point. I bought a grenadier from Luke on Tuesday. Let me start by saying I hate buying cars. I donāt like pushy sales people. This was not my experience here. I had seen a Grenadier on the road that morning and was set to go to Land Rover to buy a car over the weekend. That all changed when I called the dealership And Luke was the person who answered the phone. Within 30 seconds I knew Iād be buying a car from him. I started off saying āI hate buying cars and Iām not a window shopperā ⦠because I really do detest walking into a dealership. Luke was honest and knowledgeable, and really listened to what I wanted. A couple hours later, I walked in the door and was greeted by literally everybody. Nobody was pushy. Nobody had an attitude. Everybody I encountered was friendly and helpful. Luke is genuine. He went above and beyond to get me the best deal on the best car and made it all seem effortless. We talked a bit and walked around and looked at what was on the lot. He brought over a couple of cars from the offsite lot and a few hours later I drove home in my new loaded white Grenadier! Of course there was a little more to the story. It was all positive. Very relaxing. It didnāt feel like I was at a dealership buying a car. I mean, the stress and haggling because there was none. Then I met Barby in finance. I felt like I was hanging out with āfriendsā. Such a great experience all around. And the best thing is that I love love love my new car! The entire experience starting from when Luke answered the phone was top notch. I highly recommend this vehicle. And thereās no better place to get one than Rusnak Pasadena! Thank you...
