Fleur De Lis Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pascagoula

My husband and I stopped with our two year old son. We were hesitant once arriving because we had a small child and it was 9pm on a Thursday. We had never been to the area of Pasagoula. We were welcomed by the bar tender and the people at the bar. We were greeted very promptly to take our drink order. The bar tender and guest at the bar loved talking and speaking to our son. We thought he would bother them and he absolutely did not. They all loved having a baby to wave and speak too. We got our food ordered after asking about the menu. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits blackened and a side salad. I order the crawfish burger ultimate medium raw then I ordered my son the children's tenders. We absolutely enjoyed our meals. The owner came out and spoke to my husband and myself. She first apologized about my burger but I was very happy never complained. Her cooked and had become ill before their shift and she stepped. We repeatesly told her we both were very happy with our meals. We definitely will be back. We were told they are adding to the back and putting in a kid area and back deck with beer on top and my family friendly area. We stopped in on our way home back to Texas and couldn’t have felt more welcomed! Our waitress Elizabeth was amazing and took such great care of us! Before we left she came and asked my 9 yo if he would like a glass of lemonade to go. She asked I bet you want to know how I knew you would want one, and then told him she had kids at home too and they loved the lemonade. The owner Layla personally came to our table multiple times and was such a delight to get to talk to. She has created an amazing menu that has a little of something for everyone. The jalapeño cheese sticks are out of this world! Hands down recommend eating here even with small kids. Loved the fact that we were supporting a veteran and his family that took the time to put their hard work, blood, sweat, tears and most importantly their love into a place that makes you feel more than welcome!! If we come any where close to Pascagoula, Mississippi we will be stopping back by to eat here again! Proud supports of a local owned Veteran run establishment!!! We rarely eat out anymore because it's always disappointing. Ba-bay!!! We WILL be back! Ordered the fish daily special and the hamburger steak daily special. My mom is sooo picky about her hamburger steak. It was juicy, delicious, and not overcooked. There was plenty of gravy too! The side salad had tomatoes, carrots, onion, and cheese! The fish with fries was perfectly cooked and the coating was crunchy! Nothing was greasy! As a former cook...y'all that grease on the fries and fish is HOT and FRESH! It makes a HUGE difference! I was given 2 nice size pieces! Sorry the pic has 1 (it was that good..lol)! The fries had a great seasoned taste and all food was hot even after driving all the way back home to Moss Point! The young lady who waited on us was professional, friendly, and welcoming! Don't sleep on this gem! Try them. Go get a drink and an app! Tell them Shelia sent ya cuz it made me do my happy food...
