These people are a joke. My wife and I (we’ve lived together for 7 years now) went to purchase a rifle 45 min before they closed, they were bringing stuff they had advertised outside back in for the night so we walked on in and started looking to try to get out as fast as possible, it was obvious nobody wanted to help us but we proceeded to ask for assistance and asked to look at the rifle which is $140 at academy brand new and they had a used one for $200 here. They hand it to me and I hand it to my wife. I tell her “yeah I like it this is the one we’ve been looking for” and told him we wanted it. My wife pulls out her id and he immediately tells me he has to run a background check on me too. I tell him okay cool let’s do it and then realized I didn’t have a hard copy of my ID but I had the MS ID app that is is excepted at every bar, police, and all pawn shops I’ve been too. But of course he told me he wasn’t selling to me and I needed to leave because I might be the ATF and this might be a sting. So long story short I won’t be back. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional in my life. I’ve dealt with pawn mart 1 a lot within the past couple years and every one will tell you the shop in mosspoint is way better for buying and selling they always give you the best deals and are extremely friendly. They just didn’t have the one I wanted but I see why the one in Pascagoula still does. So if you want to get over charged or have a paranoid broker kick you out go right ahead it’s the best place in town for that. They really need a whole new staff at this store I’ve heard nothing but bad things about it in recent years but I didn’t know it was going to be this bad or I wouldn’t have waisted my time.
