Sun Willows Golf Course — Local services in Pasco

Note: I have not golfed the 18 holes yet, and afterwards my review will probably get 2 maybe three more stars, but my experience with the driving range was ok. They have BEAUTIFUL mats and lush greens to hit from, but the range is not even, so if I you are trying to track your stats a little more seriously (like me) it's hard sometimes to see how far it actually went because terrain will go up or down about 5 feet and most of the time you're ball will go behind a hill and you can't see it. Secondly, I asked for a large bucket of balls ($9) and the guy rang me up for $11. I guess he decided to take advantage of my age and charged me more like he was getting the winnings (ahole). When I confronted him about it saying the website said $9, he said that was for the medium bucket. Website clearly states otherwise. Practice greens are glorious. Sun Willows is the other “Usual Suspect”course in this area. After playing it a few more times and giving it a few more chances… it deserves a better review than I last gave it. It’s a decent track but I still think they charge too much. It is always packed and the pace of play is typically slow but the course layout is ok. It offers more of a challenge than Columbia Point does. This place requires a little more skill and course management. Played this course today while working in the area...they had just punched their greens so the putting was not true with all the sand on the greens...BUT, the course was in really good shape and I can't wait to get back and see how the greens roll! This course is in the middle range of courses....small pro shop, golf cafe and a small practice area, small price to play...$30 for me today....senior rate, plus a discount due to the greens being worked on.
