I swung by this place around 8:30pm to grab something to eat. The establishment is very nice. However, the entrance is confusing if you get a Lyft or Uber there, it will send you to the college dorms Across the street. The aesthetics of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant It’s pretty small it might fit about 40 people. The bar area might set about 10 people. The bartender was very attentive and helpful. The food came out pretty quick. I ordered the Caesar salad, a flatbread pizza and the seafood fettuccine pasta. The salad was good. The pizza was good but the Seafood fettuccine pasta was a 1 out of 1 there was absolutely no flavor other than the red pepper flakes and the pasta was swimming in it. It was very spicy. If you don’t like spicy, this is not the meal for you. I also got a Prosecco which I enjoyed! Overall, I would come back. I just would not get the pasta. Oh yeah, and I like the fact that they allow truck parking. As a truck driver, I respect establishments that allow truck drivers

It’s a shame this little bistro isn’t better known! The food was amazing and the waitress was very friendly. Came here after a math event at CBC and was not disappointed. Could use better advertising since I wasn’t sure if it was open or not since it’s at the back of the hotel lobby past another seating area that was empty. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, onion rings and wings after contemplating all the delicious options on the menu. Was bummed out for not trying the steak after over hearing the waitress tell another customer it was the chefs specialty. Will definitely come back and try it next time.

Great food, amazing staff and laid back atmosphere. Love the pizza and the spicy chicken sandwich. Update 3/31/25- They upped their game by offering Tomato soup and a garlic sourdough with cheddar and Havarti grilled cheese pairing. It was absolutely divine. Not sure if it's going to be a regular offering or not, but I'll ask everytime I'm in!

We ordered food to our room on 10/16 because it was Friday night and the wait time at restaurants was long. We ordered the smoked mozzarella wedges, applewood bacon hamburger with fries, and the deluxe flatbread with no olives or mushrooms. The food came fast but we were so disappointed with the taste. We read all the food reviews which were great so we were excited to try it. First, the mozzarella wedges tasted chemically. I’m not sure what they used to achieve the smoked taste but it seemed artificial. The wedges sat on some lettuce and tomatoes blend for presentation which was old and brown. The marinara sauce was more like just diced tomatoes in juice. It lacked any spices for us. The flatbread came with mushrooms though I asked to omit. The bread was okay and the sauce wasn’t too bad but the toppings were bland, especially the sausage. I ate 2 slices before I gave up. The hamburger was not hot and again it lacked taste. I think overall the food just lacked flavor. The fries were really good and the only part we liked. We’ve never left a review anywhere but this has been the worst meal we’ve had in a long, long time and wanted to let others know in case they’re used to a lot of flavor and spices. I promise we’re re not exaggerating when we say it was not a good meal. We had a bite of the hamburger, 2 slices of that flatbread, and one of the mozzarella wedges before we couldn’t proceed and ended up ordering fast food. We...

My husband and I decided to have dinner here on a Tuesday night, and so we walked over from our house in nearby Sun Willows.

In comparison, a week earlier we had treated ourselves to a more expensive steak at a certain restaurant that rhymes with Spudd’s and the meal cost us over 100.00.

I went out on a limb and ordered the steak at The Bistro at Best Western with a baked potato. Oh My Goodness was I in for a treat! The steak was cooked perfectly (MR), it was seasoned perfectly- just the right amount of char from those beautiful grill marks. And the baked potato- that baked potato was as if the angels pulled a cloud from heaven, heated it up, and put the right amount of butter and sour cream on it! The asparagus was also cooked perfectly (not too hard- not too mushy) and the chef took the hard parts out. VERY enjoyable meal.

And- even though the place was so busy- likely because of their delicious food- the service was great. The waitress had a great personality, gave us exactly what we ordered, and made sure our table was buses, and we had plenty of drink!

I want to keep this gem for myself- I mean, who would have thought at a Best Western restaurant!! It was less than half the cost of our meal at the other place, and twice as enjoyable!

10/10...
