Would not recommend. Very aggressive staff. Threatening people for using the bathroom. I often have to come right before closing due to my work schedule. The staff gets very aggressive about me staying till closing. My fiance has the 24 hour pass and I often have to leave at 9pm when they close to go sit in the car to wait till he finishes working out. They always get annoyed that I am from another Y and make it so obvious when they have to switch to let me scan my key fob every time I come.
I have never had a problem before but today the staff yelled across the gym for me to leave exactly at 9pm, which I understand I was finishing a rep as it turned to 9. They want to leave and get off their shift but to go up to my fiance and threaten to take his membership due to me using the bathroom before leaving the building is beyond ridiculous. If you use the bathroom immediately after closing they will assume you are trying to stay or have someone sneak you in. Will be calling tomorrow to complain. It is ridiculous. Also going to other people coming into the building and talking to them to make sure I do not get let into the building after they leave is overkill.
I really hope they check the cameras as they threaten my fiance and see how stupid they look. Literally just trying to stay healthy and they act like I'm trying to break into the gym. Worst Y I have ever been too. So...
Read morei usually go to this gym every other day with my friends so we can play basketball and get a good workout in. The day before i had a friend who didn't have a membership come in and he signed a guest sheet and played and worked out with us. Today we went in after school and the same friend was with us again. He had brought money for a membership and asked politely if he had to be 18 to get a membership or if his parents had to be with him and then proceeded to ask if he couldn't he could just sign a guest sheet. The manager/owner came over and instead of politely telling him he couldn't buy a membership, she scolded us and rudely told us that we couldn't buy a membership and he couldn't sign a guest sheet although he did it the day before. She then unprofessionally glared at us and told him to basically get out. She was unprofessional and should honestly not be working at a YMCA where you have to work with people. If you are looking for a friendly place to work out at, DO NOT go here. The rest of the staff is nice, but the manager/owner is outright rude and...

This is, like, my second home.
The exterior is... not inviting. Were it not for the sign, you would probably miss it. Even with the sign, you might drive up and wonder where the Y is. It is in a converted manufacturing area.
The interior... is not without issues. However, they continue to make improvements to the wellness center and the program rooms.
The true gem of this YMCA is the people (both clients and staff) which make it worth the visit. There are strong programs for kids and adults. Martial arts, yoga, tumbling, fitness challenges, Silver Sneakers... I can go on and on.
There are also several programs geared to the community. Daddy Daughter dance, Mother and Son superhero event, toy and food drives, parent's night out, etc.
Come check it out, and be part of the...
