The guy is a nice guy but he put a black screen on my white phone without even discussing it with me. Obviously, like anyone I know, didn’t want that esp bc my home button was still white. He tried to tell me everyone loves that look. Well sorry, not me buddy. Also the screen was massively tinted and it was lower than a normal screen (my home button was raised rather than below the screen like normal) Then he tried to keep my phone over night because he said “apple” sent him a defected white screen. At that point I said I wanted my phone and money back with my original screen put on. After some arguing he said I can pick up my phone at 4. When I went in to get it he tried giving me only $50 back. I was not having it. If he would have communicated from the beginning that he didn’t have a white screen all this mess would have been avoided. I spent 2 hours in the car going back and forth to his shop. Then when I got home I went and had my screen fixed by professionals and they told me an important sensor was missing. So that was extra to install. This guy doesn’t know what he’s doing and his screens are terrible. He’s nice enough but really bad business person in my opinion. Communication is key when you are trying to run and operate a businesss!! And it’s not the customers fault if you don’t present that...
Read moreBrought in an unused, dead Acer Nitro 5 and explained that AFAIK it had shipped with the LiteOn charger I also provided. Inquired after a week about progress and was told the weather had backed them up. Later I was contacted about the "Asus" charger - where was the original? I explained again that LiteOn is an OEM used by Acer. Was told they had to order a new charger to test. After two weeks, I was told it was ready, and that "all the Windows bloatware" had also been removed (not requested - did I pay for this?). It turns on, but...after paying $130, I was sent home with my computer and...the original defective charger. Had I known that, and with an itemized receipt (I included what I did receive below), I would have happily paid for the working charger. Contacted them over a day ago asking at least which brand they used, but no response.
