This place has potential to be good, they just have to get it together. I called ahead of time to make sure the beans and rice were vegan/ vegetarian friendly the nice lady said beans are veg friendly and not made with lard, but the rice is made with chicken stock. The menu says its vegetarian on the vegetarian plate but the rice is not veg friendly. I noticed some reviewers leaving reviews that are vegan vegetarian and they are eating the rice. Meat eaters ordered 6 tacos, steak and Chorizo they gave us different meat then ordered, I think one was beef tongue. Ordered enchiladas dinner got one enchilada with no rice or beans. They forgot our chips and salsa we had to go back in. Great food, great service, great value! First time here, I ordered four tacos and two tamales. The tamales come smothered in cheese and red or green sauce. I asked for pork with no sauce and they were excellent! The tacos are good sized and packed with lots of meat. The chorizo was the star here! Very good, bold flavors! The lengua was tender and flavorful, very good. The steak was bit overdone and tough but I’ll give it another shot could’ve been a one time mistake.
