My husband and I recently purchased a house and we decided to look for furniture today. Our salesman, Greg, was amazing. He was very helpful and upbeat. Answered any questions we had as well as gave our son a balloon. We stopped by Miskelly first because we have purchased furniture with them before and our experience was amazing. We decided on a bedroom set and I found a sectional I loved. I mentioned it to Greg and we proceeded to the back to add that to the delivery. Two caucasion ladies at the counter, both may be in their early 60's, began to complain about it being past closing. They were on their cellphones (well before closing and during this time). They looked a bit upset about having to stay to enter my information into the system. For 1, we arrived well before 7pm. Secondly, we do not purchase anything we do not want, especially under pressure or because a store is closing. Last, but definitely not least, it should not matter what time it is when the company is making money. It would have been completely different if we had walked in, looked around for am hour or 2 and still not have purchased anything.
After Greg came and asked was everything alright, they began to say they would enter my information, still not looking at me or sounding sincere.
Needless to say, we did not get the sectional because of the two rude ladies. They definitely do not have any customer service skills and they make the entite Miskelly brand look horrible and unprofessional.
I would highly recommend Greg if anyone still want to try them. Just make sure you are ready to sign your paperwork at least an hour before closing. You may receive a smile instead of attitudes and neck and eye rolls during that process.

Read moreI went in just to browse around for a living room set a was meet with such enthusiasm from salesperson Allison Bartley. She was very helpful and professional. She didn’t hound me down to buy anything which is something I hate when I go in a store. She politely introduced herself, inquired about whether I was looking for anything in particular and directed me to the area where the sectionals were located in the store. She gave me time to breeze and came back over to me after a few minutes of looking just to whether I had any questions and told me about the current special that Miskelly was running and even about clearance sectionals that was located on the top level of the store. As soon as I went up there to look at a sectional she told me about based on the criteria I told her I was looking for such as the color and that I wanted it to recline. I fell in love with the sectional she advised me to go view. I told her that I needed sometime to make a decision and I will come back. Needs to say I came back the very next day to get the sectional that was on clearance! Honestly, I loved the sectional but its was the customer service that I received from Ms. Allison that made me want to come back and make the purchase. Ms. Allison should be a lead trainer for all the employees because she listens very well to the customer needs and know how to help guide them in the right direction. Read moreI have been shopping w Miskelly's for years. I usually have good service but I have to say this time I really worked my sales rep very hard, he was very knowledgeable on each product. If there is anything I could change it would be pricing (of course). I am disabled and times are more difficult. I was in desperate need of the pieces I bought or would have waited. Second, I totally think Miskelly should lower the delivery fee. I understand cost are up but thats the point. Dont do like everyone else. Markup on furniture already has 400%+ markup, why topple onto that in todays market? Stand above the rest and don't just do it because your name is Miskelly's and you can. Advertise lower delivery than others and you will bring in more business. I remember when the delivery fee was $75, now its $200..... REDICULOUS!! UPDATE: After my purchase I have needed additional assistance from my salesman but seems once the sale is complete It is nearly impossible to get assistance. I finally had to contact one of the managers to get assistance but that too has been another issue since my problem is still unresolved 2 weeks after my purchase.
