After Sue and I decided to get serious about getting Stressless chairs we went to area Stressless authorized dealers. They all had a few chairs on display but we felt that we could not afford an expensive pair of chairs by ordered from catalog pictures.

I went on line looking for dealers outside Alabama and Florida. I found a dealer in Mississippi that had over forty chairs on display and over 250 chairs in their warehouse. We had never been to Jackson or Pearl Mississippi which is over three-hour Drive from Mobile, Alabama. A long days drive to look at furniture.

Sue and I decided to go and it was a great decision. On reaching The Unwind Company and entering we met with Andrew and Trish. After explaining our “mission” to purchase two Stressless Chairs. Andrew and Trish with Southern hospitality and we became “friends” not just customers. Both explained everything from how Stressless is manufactured and why it takes 6-8 weeks to receive the chairs. Sue and I are like most Americans in “we want it NOW!”

Now comes the time when Andrew really shines. We finally decide on two chairs in a light green color. We had them put in our SUV and returned to Mobile. Upon arriving home we placed them in our living room. The chair color looked atrocious, did not go with anything we have.

The next morning we called Andrew, he fully understood, suggested a camel color set of chairs that we had liked, He informed us that he was going to Fort Walton Beach, Florida and would be happy to drop them off and pick up the ones we had. One problem was they didn’t have the ottomans. We agreed to the 6-8 ordering-receiving time.

Bottom line, Sue and I with Andrew and Trish’s guidance we made a great decision to go to Pearl and purchase our Stressless Chairs from UnWind Company and we have recommended to several friends to consider UnWind as the store to purchase their Stressless furniture.

I live in FL, and so lucky I discovered this gem of a company in MS! They have an impressive selection of Ekornes Stressless chairs, and I wanted an office chair ASAP... The first chair I ordered was snatched from the warehouse, but I quickly received a friendly call and assistance selecting a similar chair we liked just as much. It was a new model that wasn't even on the website yet... about a week later, I received another call advising about a slight delay in the shipment that was arriving from Ekornes. In addition to a heartfelt apology, they actually recommended issuing me a full refund during this wait (only another week or so, not too long)... I was blown away that I didn't even ask - they were so considerate and didn't want me to have this purchase sitting on my credit card, so recommended the refund and assured me the chair still had my name on it. And it did! The chair arrived last week, and it's sheer bliss... it was a true pleasure working with the folks at The Unwind Company, and I highly recommend giving them your business - they are so warm and take excellent care of...

I just purchased my first Stressless Recliner from Toby and his staff at The Unwind Company. Toby introduced me to the Stressless brand and not only is the furniture ergonomically designed to be the most comfortable but it is beautiful as well! The Stressless brand is known for comfort as the recliners have just the right amount of softness and support along with classic styling. I visited their showroom in Pearl, MS and was able to sit in different styles of recliners and view all the different leather colors and options as well. Toby and his staff were very knowledgeable and assisted me in selecting “the perfect recliner”. My Mayfair recliner was delivered within the time frame he quoted and is an absolutely gorgeous addition to my home.
