Bass Pro Shops — Local services in Pearland

I would not recommend this place to anyone who tries to do price match and here is the reason WHY: I am a Club member, I purchased a firearm from Bass Pro Shop at its Pearland, TX location on July, 4th, 2022. When I was checking out, I presented the price match request. The manager at the firearm department said it was not from a qualified website. The website is called Omaha Outdoors, which has a retail store in Rosenberg, TX, which is within 100 miles from the Pearland location. So I had requested the store manager and she told me that Omaha Outdoors is on sale, which she was lying about, their price is not on sale, it is their everyday pricing. She did not want to match the price. So I paid the full price and went home. After I went home, I read through the price match policy again, and it proved me I was right, and she was wrong. So I called their customer service and explained the situation to her, and she told me to bring in the proof that they will match the price match for me. So I went back the next day, July 5th with another proof, it was Brownells' online pricing, which it a qualify website from your policy. Show to the manager again. This time she even gave me even more ridiculous answer, she said: For the price matching, it has to be QUALIFY WEBSITE AND HAVE A RETAIL STORE WITH IN 100 MILES. I told her it was not what it meant on the policy. Than, she told me to read through the fine print of the policy, which I show it to her. On the Policy, it stated: SHOW A BASS PRO SHOPS OR CABELA'S OUTFITTER

IDENTIFY A QUALIFYING PRODUCT Make sure the product you wish to purchase from us is currently available (i.e., in stock) at our store or website and is identical to the product currently offered at another retailer's local store or on a qualifying website (i.e., same brand, model, color, size, and quantity).

She Just Keep lying to me and being unprofessional and uneducated on the POLICY. I called the headquarters' customer service and spoke with supervisor, and she said she will email the store manager to take care of this matter. She even said I was RIGHT, because she read through the policy while she was on the phone with me. She said: She don't understand why they did not pricematch for me. Gave her my Cell Number so she said they will contact me. I waited, NO CONTACT ME, so I call the Headquarter, and left an complain message with my CELL NUMBER. IN FACT, NO ONE...

It was one of the good ones with a waterfall. My daughter had so much fun. Bathrooms were clean and we were comfortable in there for about an hour.

Only thing I can say is that they should fix their shooting game upstairs...

I am an eye for an eye kind of man and I placed a quarter in the machine. Me, being an experienced arcade player in my hay day, I did not hear the familiar clink of the machine registering that I had put in a quarter.

I got eye level with the location of where I had inserted my quarter and did in fact, see that my quarter was lodged in there with various other quarters...

No I did not need the quarter. I am fortunate enough to have many quarters and this one was not of a sentimental value... But it's the principal... That's MY quarter and you took it!

I tried to pop it a few times, no luck. I tried to use a key but it was too big. Touche, Bass Pro Shop, touche, but I am a well-prepared man.

I pulled out my pocket knife began extraction. It took a minute as I looked around for any employees but I finally achieved what was mine.

But then I got to thinking, I should avenge other people who lost their quarters in your machines in their honor and I also had nothing better to do. I am a man with purpose.

They were very difficult to get out with just one blade. At this point I was wishing I had two blades.

Fortune would have it that I could buy an additional pocketknife from your store and go back to your machines to achieve justice for the many, but that is when I realized that that was exactly what you wanted me to do.... Very clever but I'm not falling for it Bass Pro shop..

In the end, they kept rolling back in the same spot and it was taking too long to the point that I was afraid that people we're beginning to think that I was a homeless man so I stopped.

It was a great experience all in all, but I'm forewarning you that I will one day return with long tweezers, and will use them if your machines are still down to finish what I started. It's just...

DO NOT SHOP HERE WHILE BLACK !!! Yesterday 6/12 @5:20 my boyfriend and I decided to go shopping for bullets for hog hunting. We met 2 other friends there. As we’re walking in we stop and talk to a few employees in the front. My boyfriend is very well known in the Pearland Bass Pro shop. He’s spent thousands of dollars at this location, and he brings over $10,000 worth of reels to be spooled at this location.

We all go upstairs to the gun area and we are looking at bullets. While we are looking at bullets there are 2 other black customers shopping around. I notice that the older Asian guy is starring at us. He keeps coming down the aisle that we were on pretending to work. He returns back behind the counter, I WATCHED HIM BLATANTLY IN THE OPEN flag his other sales associate down and points in 3 different directions pointing towards all the black customers telling him to watch us.

Once I noticed I didn’t say anything just to see how far he would go. My friend is still on the bullet aisle looking at bullets, opening them up to check and make sure everything was ok with them. When I notice the older Asian guy pointing directly at my friend talking to his coworker. He still hasn’t noticed that I’m watching him do this to us.

My friend finally decides on a pair of bullets and starts walking up to the counter. I refused to let him buy the bullets because we being accused of stealing. We have NEVER STOLE from Bass Pro Shop EVER !!!! Then when we asked why they were watching us and talking about us. They didn’t even have the decency to look us in our face and tell us why !! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE BEEN PROFILED AT THE GUN COUNTER AT BASS PRO SHOP !!!!

We always talk very highly of Bass Pro Shop. We have spent thousands of dollars at your store! We are always promoting for bass pro shop on our Shark Fishing Teams platform! Talk about a slap in the face ! I will never step foot in another Bass Pro Shop EVER !!! Horrible customer service! I wouldn’t even rate this...
