Usually don't do this, but there's too much that went wrong with my car that I can't leave alone. Pics attached below Went to this shop cause their worked looked pretty good on the website and its close by my house. Got a quote for them to do a lot of stuff my car. They did the alarm with remote start, birds eye view cameras, wired up the head unit, swap out the rear door speakers and install an amp under the passenger seat. Big list. I wanted them to do the alarm because i have no experience with that part plus my car was bought in Japan and shipped over here. So it's different from the U.S. models and no diagrams are available. I do give them kudos for installing the alarm on such a difficult car, but now what happened during all of this.

They told me a couple days for all the work and I said ok and scheduled an appointment for 10am. I dropped my car off 10am sharp on the scheduled day. So, I let them do their thing and a couple days go by so I called them and they said they were still working on it. So I went up there on the 4th working day of them having my car and nothing had been worked on. It was still all apart the same way i left it.

Couple more days go by and then they were running into issues with the camera wires not able to go through the door grommets. So they needed to take the doors off and drill new holes and run the wires. So i said ok that will take time for sure.

Long story short they had my car for about a month. They had broke a mirror, replaced it, but its not the same depth perception as the other one so its definitely off looking. My car came back all scratched up and a new big dent in my door. My car had no dents before. The wiring work they did is unacceptable. They just ran all the wiring any way they could make it work. No organization or anything. They had broken both of the plastic tabs on my pillar that connect to the car to stay in place. They loss my memory seat buttons that go on the driver side door. The battery terminal wires were left ziptied together instead of trying to ask to upgrade the terminal so all the extra wires will fit. They cross threaded a couple of under the dash bolts and my seat bolts. They put the amp under the passenger seat and wired it all up but its not even mounted. It just moves freely back and forth. The 2 fuse blocks for the amps are not mounted and just laid dangling in the engine bay.

After the month had gone by I wanted my car back because it was taking too long and things were getting messed up and didnt look like it was too much quality in the work so I took my car with out them finishing. They didnt finished installing the tweeters or mid range speakers because I didnt know where i wanted them mounted, but also just wanted my car back. And still paid full price.

Bring back the old owner. The current one isnt fully honest, seems to approve substandard work, and then tries to make u feel like he's doing you a favor to correct the substandard work! Also you vehicle is not done in the order it arrives. in my case it took 6 months to install a radio, install some leds, install a trunk build with 4 6x9s and repair a bumper, Excuse was that they had other vehicles come in that they had to do. which to my ears means that mine didnt take precedence. After 6 months I went to pick up vehicle only to discover that things agreed on were not installed correctly, or wernt dont at all, to this day i still have things not done or not working properly and the owner refuses to return my calls. i spend around $4000 !! I did not ask for a hook up or a discount. the original agreed amount was around $1800. Owner jacked up the price by doubling the same items on the invoice 2 and 3 times and then telling me that he had to do some extra stuff.! With all of this the vehicle was filthy inside and out when i went to pick up. after 6 months i had to leave it there an additional week to let them fix items and complete work agreed upon. I went here looking for a certain brand and was convinced by Jose to purchase a preloaded 8” ground zero box. He assured me the speaker was good and talked me into listening to a demo in a pickup truck. He said it had 1 of the same speakers just in a different type of box. I couldn’t see the box or speakers they were behind the seat. He recommended a 400 watt amp that they had in stock along with the ground zero preloaded box. I paid them to install in my semi. At pick up, I turned on system and the speaker immediately started making a cracking noise when the bass dropped. I told Jose to check it out and he so called tuned the amp. Basically, just turned it down from whatever setting it was on. He told me twice keep receipt in your semi there is a 1 year warranty on all equipment and installation. Speaker blew in 3 days. Called several times talked to Jose and got the run around. It’s been 3 weeks now so I just went to a different shop and purchased some better product.
