I go to this Dollar General because it's convenient. Some of the workers are friendly, professional and want to work. Some do not. But the biggest problem I see is that the owners are cheap and don't want to pay to hire enough people and keep them. There's ALWAYS empty shelves with tons of boxes sitting around, obstructing your path, filled with merchandise that no one has enough time (again understaffed) to stock the shelves. There were sooo many times I wanted to just do it for them myself. lol. Management has to stop being so greedy and spend the money to get sufficient help. Read moreVery nice and personable cashiers. There are 3 of them ( night shift ) that I really enjoy seeing them when I go in. They always say hello, and never give me a hard time even though I do stop in maybe 1/2 before they close. I promise I'm a fast shopper...sorry. Anyway, besides the very nice workers, this store has everything from sheets to lamps to makeup and soap. They even have rugs and rolling clothing racks. If you need it, I'm sure they have it. Read moreWhen this store gets a truck shipment, the entire stick from the truck is unloaded inside the store. Where people shop! These isles are a mess!! You are tripping and moving the new stuff off the truck. I had reached over piles of stuff to get to storage bins, all the lids came down on my head. Thank god it was just the lids....it could have been worse! Then since I made such a racket, and associate stocking shelves, walked by the isle I was in, looks at me, with lids n bins all around me, n just keeps going.
