I wanted to rent equipment for a job being done at my home. I called almost 2 weeks out to place the rental and give my information. The man on the phone told me the rental would be there at 8am, the price and that I would NOT need to sign for the rental. As I left for work this morning I left a check with the amount I was told on my door expecting things would go smoothly. At 930 I was told by the people doing the work that the equipment was not there and a note was left on my door stating "Nice try. You need to sign for the equipment." As we were already an hour behind I called to get the mistake corrected. I was then told the boy was new who took my order and gave me poor information. The man was VERY RUDE as if this situation was my fault. He said he would fix it and hung up on me. Then as the equipment was brought back to the site, their driver was rude to my father attempting to charge me the full amount. This experience set me back a week. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. Learn to correct YOUR mistakes and not treat your customers like they are the problem....

Wife and I found ourselves in need of a new bar refrigerator. After an abortive attempt to purchase on from Lowe's (long story short, fridge was too big to fit down the steps), a coworker recommended stopping here. We did.
What we found was an experienced, knowledgeable salesperson who listened to what we needed and recommended something based on our needs. Did the due diligence and the price was within a couple of dollars of the big box stores. Why not support the local business?
The service continued with the delivery. Guys who showed up were very careful with our home and when they realized there was a chance the old refrigerator would ding up the stairwell walls, they were up front and asked what we wanted to do.
In short, given the choice of dealing with a company who takes care of you through the entire process from purchase to delivery is much better than dealing with a big box store who subcontracts their deliveries to people who can't even be bothered to complete the...
Read moreWe purchased an Haier floor model air conditioner April 2023. We used it approximately 2 months in the midst of summer to further cool our bedroom . To my surprise it did not cool when I started it in May. I went to Longeneckers to talk to them about it after I did all the troubleshooting in manual. They said it's out of warranty & handed the receipt to me. I asked what can you do to help me , repair, suggestions? They said there are no parts. They come from Japan & it is hit or mis if they work well or not. After I questioned their integrity a man told me their dehumidifier are the same way & pointed to them on the sales floor. I now have a $430.00 fan. I like to shop small businesses, take pride in our small towns but lack of respect for customers is what is driving people to shop Amazon. After 20 yrs. of shopping there I will no longer & I will tell my friends to steer clear & shop where they are respected...
