The people working at this store may know about technology, but they need a crash course in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered my new tablet on March 10 (Thursday), and was told it would arrive in 2 business days, and they would call me. When I hadn't gotten a call by the following Wednesday, I TRIED to call the store and inquire. I somehow got routed to someone in the South Pacific who barely spoke English. It was so bad that I finally gave up. I called the next day and spoke to someone in Louisiana who told me that the tablet was backordered. I started tracking it on their website at this point. The website told me that it was delivered yesterday, but I was still never called by the store. When I went to store to today to retrieve it, the young man working there was nice, but was dressed VERY unprofessionally (sweats & sneakers?!?) and kept saying, "Well, I don't work at this store, I'm from Lebanon." He was able to give me the tablet, but could not answer any questions. For the amount of money that I give Verizon every month, I expect better. A LOT better! Their stellerness extends beyond depth of knowledge in products, plans, options, providing informed recommendations, Customer Service, and sincerity in making, well at least me, understand what I am holding is all about and capable of. If refer to them as my "My Smarter than me phone." On numerous occasions, I'd be confounded, stopped in and I was sorted out. More importantly to this point, when I left the store, with no uncertainties, they had full-on instructed me on the in's/outs and what to do should it re-arise. Read moreI had gone to another local Verizon Store to purchase a phone. Not exactly being tech friendly, I had asked if they were going to transfer all of my contacts, photos, etc. to my new phone. The person that was helping me at the time told me that it would be easier and go more quickly if I did it at home. Well it was for him, but not for me. They didn't even activate the phone. He handed the new phone to me and sent me on my way. After trying to figure it all out myself, I ended up going to the Verizon store in Manheim. Carlito was very kind and understanding and helped me through the process. The Corp. Branch in Red Rose Commons should take pointers from the more customer service oriented, smaller branch in Manheim. ...
