Manheim Shopping Center — Local services in Penn Township

Conveniently located just one minute east of Manheim square along Doe Run Rd. Manheim Shopping Center is a traditional shopping attraction for many members of the Manheim community. It has a wide variety of shopping venues, including grocery, hardware, drugstore, frozen desserts - in season, pizza, beverage, mobile phone retail, and bicycles .... to mention several off hand! It's has a large parking lot, and onsite ATM. Three of the centers vendors have been the mainstay for many years..... Weis Markets has been a staple grocery supplier offering everything from deli, fresh produce and fruit, to specialty meats and cultural specific items...... I often visit Longeneckers Hardware....always helpful and friendly people. If one person doesn't know the answer to your question, they will try hard to find someone who can help you! I also visit Weis as well....I kind of liked the 'old' one better....while the people there are nice, it doesn't have the 'hometown' feel any longer. Seems turnover is WAY high now, whereas previously, there were people you got to know for years. But....this is how it is.....STILL a nice clean store with great...

Stopped by Weis Markets and wasn't too thrilled about it. I usually use Palmyra's and Elizabethtown's Weis Markets and this one didn't seem as well taken care of it like the other 2. They had my buns I stopped for, but I only stopped because we needed buns and I was on my way home from getting Peaches, so this Weis was on my way. I don't know how to explain it, just seemed like they didn't do a lot of business at the store. It was like dark and dreary for A Weis Market....
