I am a cancer survivor and I had to have my thyroid removed. I lost my metabolism and gained a lot of weight. On top of that some things in my life had me depressed and I hadn't worked out in years. At almost 200lbs, I knew I needed help and knew who to call! My trainer Tim Sparkes at Die Hard Gym and Fitness, is the absolute best. I had to be reminded two months ago that there are two words I don't say in his gym, "can't" and "won't." When I first started I could not do push ups, tricep presses or squats with a 95 lb bar. Now I can do 3 sets of push ups, same of triceps and three sets of squats with the free weight bar at 95!! The changes don't happen as quickly as I wish they would, but I am seeing amazing changes and getting my shape back. he talks to me too and counsels me. he always tells me I am beautiful and reminds me that any negative things I have heard or even said about myself are not true! This was the end of month two! I will get measurements next week again! The first 4 weeks I lost 5.5% body fat and 4 inches in my waist.
