We came on Friday during lunch and the placed was pretty empty. We stood in the front waiting to be acknowledged. After a few minutes the bar tender asked if we wanted to eat then told us to seat ourselves. This places was super dark for lunch. We had to use a flashlight on our phones to read the menu. It took a while to get our waters. The chips were under cooked and gooey. They dont have salsa they have a green sauce and a red sauce which mirror enchilada sauce. As an appetizer we order the jalapeño bombs. These are your typical frozen food and was served still cold in the middle. We were able to pick them up right after hitting the table. The ranch dipping sauce wasn't very good and had a sour taste. I ordered the lunch mini chimi and my husband had the pick 2 lunch combo. Ay this restaurant they bring each plate out when done instead of the entire table at once. The rice was gross and tasted like from a bag. The shredded chicken chimi was cooked well and crunchy. The sauce had no flavor. While bringing out some hot sauce the server dropped it on the table landing all over my phone, the table, and on me. She asked if I wanted and napkins. I was a bit frustrated because i dont want to sit with hot sauce on my person or personal items. I ate the chimi and didn't finish the rest. My husband's tacos one beef and one chicken were very bland. With this restaurant being in the young town area we should have expected the lack of seasoning. Overall table service was very slow and not checked in on enough for water refills. It was our first experience here and sure will be our last. The server had 4 tables and the bartender had 2 customers very slow for a Friday lunch and the service was not up to par. Some of the menu items are more expensive and not worth it. I make better mexican food and would save money by...

Update: this place needs to close. I used to love this place until they moved to a new location. I have been to the new place 2 times. Each time I had to wait for over a hour to get my food both times. Then when I did get my food (I ordered the beef fajitas it was so bad the beef I think came from a 80 year old cow could hardly crew it and so salty it was like like eating a salt lick that cows need. So I tried to get someone to tell them about my food. About 20 minutes later our waitress finally came by to see if everything was OK. When I told her she was acting like I was crazy. I made her taste the beef and she took my plate and said she would get it fixed. By now I have been there for 2 hours. I told her to forget it. I like all the excuses that they say on other reviews. Instead of making excuses and nothing being done about the complaints. Nothing is done to In prove what is wrong. I know if this restaurant doesn't do anything to correct the problems and stop all the 1☆ reviews you will be forced to close your doors. Stop acting like this restaurant cares about the bad food and service and fix the problem. Ever reply to the 1☆ reviews all I read is the same reply saying sorry. If you are truly sorry for the bad food and service then fix the problems. But I believe that the owners don't really care about the problems. I'm just like other customers I will never be back. 2 times with bad service and disgusting food that my dog...

WORST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER BOUGHT! I am only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the chicken enchiladas were ok. My 6 year old & I went into this place for the first time yesterday. My daughter got a chicken taco with fry's & a churro. I got the chicken enchilada meal with rice/beans and chips on the side. 1st of all these taco shells are JUST like the ones you buy from the store. 2nd my daughters taco was soggy by the time we got home (7-10 min drive) and fell completely apart. My daughter refused to eat it and I couldn't blame her. My bean/rice were hard and I was unable to eat them. The chips were the only thing I like but the salsa was not good. They forgot my daughters drink & she didn't even eat the churros which she usually loves. Sadly the french fry's were the only half decent thing. I was very upset after spending $20.00 on a dinner that was inedible. Needless to say we will NOT being...

Just learned about this place a few days ago. Excited to try it...... so disappointed I did. Placed an order, got home, half the order was missing. Called, and they asked if I wanted it. Why else would I call! Drove 6 miles back and instead of an apology, she tried to explain why. I'm hungry and want my food. It took me 10 minutes to get my order, pay, and go! When I got home, it was cold. Obviously it had been sitting there since the beginning. They didn't even heat it up!! Below is all I could eat, awful. And why is my salsa the different colors?! You want great food, great service, and people who know how to run a business, go to NINO'S in Sun City. ps why is my salsa the different colors?!
