Listen I know shelters and Rescue centers can be overwhelming over crowded and really busy. But when someone calls for help and (it doesn’t have to be your facility to take in the animal) you get discarded and shut down without even hearing why this person is calling is very messed up rude and heart breaking. I literally called to ASK for help in pointing me in the right direction to get this little kitten help or shelter but before I could even finish my sentence this mean women says “WE HAVE NO ROOM FOR KITTENS NOPE NO ROOM HERE “ and hangs up on me. I wasn’t asking her if her facility was taking kittens I was calling to ask if she knew what places are accepting a 3 week old abandoned kitten. I honestly don’t understand if you don’t like your job or your rude to people who need your help why be in this industry? Wouldn’t you take pride into helping others who are helping animals? Isn’t this like what u do for a living?? All I’m trying to do is find a no kill rescue or shelter to take this poor baby and give it a good home. It’s not mine it’s a abandoned kitty the momma left it in my yard. It’s hot here in Az it could have died. All I did was ask for help and to be treated this way is so...
Read moreOur experience with Sun Cities 4 Paws was outstanding and I highly recommend them. After losing two of our cats just two months apart my family was devastated. Our only remaining cat who will be 12 next month was very depressed. He was meowing constantly and not acting himself at all. We knew he needed a friend. It was our first time at 4 Paws; I read about the organization on the Internet. We were really hoping to take a cat home that day (it's difficult to explain to a 3yo that she would have to wait) and didn't have an age or gender preference. The staff let us look around, hold and interact with any cat we wanted. For us it mostly came to which cats were ready to go home. The paperwork was extremely easy. We chose to have our cat microchipped and they did it before we left. Staff was very friendly, answered all of our questions. In our excitement we left home without our cat carrier but they had a box carrier we purchased for $5. We couldn't be happier with our new family member! The acceptance between the two cats happened immediately. Fastest I've ever seen! Thank you to Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue for the work you to do and for being a...
Read moreA week ago my husband and I went to 4 paws to check out cats as we wanted to adopt a second cat. We decided to adopt sister kitties that were 4.5 mos old as my husband connected to one and I connected with the other and didnt have the heart to separate them as you could see how close they were as they loved playing with each other. We were so impressed with the fact that 4 paws spay/neuter, give all shots, check for leukemia and micro chip and the kittens were litter box trained. Fee was very reasonable; 1 kitten $150 & you get 2nd for half off $75. The staff was wonderful, the cats appeared to be well taken care of and healthy looking and the place was clean. Our 2 kittens are happy and our other cat loves to watch them play. Other cat is 12 and is so happy they have each to play with so she isnt getting jumped on. They are getting along so well. Best decision to get both kittens. If you love cats and are looking for indoor cats, go to 4 Paws to adopt. ...
