My items that I wanted to purchase were all in stock but I was totally disregarded by everyone in the store except for a nice young man. When he directed me to the managers the both of them were racially abusive! (Kelvin and Brenda) I have been in this world for over 60 years and I know prejudice when I see and feel it. In the worse way! I was in your store for 2 hours and every time I asked a question I was told “I don’t know “ or you have to ask the manager. Finally I just left the 6 items that I was going to purchase! Plus my mom was being dropped off from dialysis! I was there too long for nothing! This store should be shut down! And it’s not the first time that I have been treated unfairly! It’s a shame! EVIL!!! And also I was @ the register trying to find my online order. I had also picked up another item and set it on the counter. When I looked up I found that my item was moved, when I inquired about it the cashier stated “I have it right here!” I said ma’am I am not a thief! Read moreFirst off I have been a loyal customer to THIS Ace since we relocated here in 2022. Everything seemed to go fine when I would go and shop. HOWEVER, the ONE time I try and return some items that did not function correctly I was treated as though I was doing something wrong. I did not have my receipt but the items were in there original ACE packaging since they were in fact ACE branded products. After getting the 3rd degree about the receipt, and being an ACE rewards customer (not ONCE did they ask if the item was defective, damaged, or even the reason as to why I was returning the items) the store accepted one item but stated that they could not take the other item stating that it was not purchased there. Now clearly it was an ACE product. They said that it was purchased at another store and that they would not take it for a return. Long story short I walked out with the DEFECTIVE item that they would not take for return. Read moreWe have been customers (sometimes 2 x a week) for more than 20 years. Until today we would rate Nena Hardware a 10 out of a 5. Today was quite upsetting. We had purchased a wind spinner 2 days ago. We hung it besides another wind spinner we purchased from Nena’s a month ago. The old one spins & the new one did not. We went to return it with the receipt and we’re accused of trying to return damaged merchandise. The sales person kept accusing us and we demanded our money back. He wanted to exchange it for another & I told him “no! Not with your attitude!” He said,”you are not suppose to return damaged merchandise” & I told him “you aren’t suppose to sell damaged merchandise” And I left the store telling him there were other A e Hardware stores we could go to and not need to shop here.
