I was initially very satisfied with my sales experience. The salesperson was not pushy. I told her what I was looking for and they did not have it on site. After explaining I needed a bedroom set for my child I was sat at a table with some books and was told to choose what I wanted. I found something I liked a chose it. Next was on to mattress selection. They had a decent range of mattresses and I picked one out. I asked if I needed the foundation as was informed I did. I purchased both. I finished my purchase and waited for delivery. When the delivery arrived it became apparent that I did not need or could even use the mattress foundation and that the footboard for the bed was incorrect. I was informed by the delivery people to call and take up the issue with the store as they were only subcontractors for deliveries. I understood and immediately called up the store. The woman who answered put me on with my sales person. After explaining the situation to her she informed me that she would look into it and get back with me later that day or on Monday (delivery was on Saturday). That was about two weeks ago and I have yet to receive any kind of response. The mattress foundation has been sitting in the hall as I have no place to put it and my a-hole cats have ripped a hole in the felt bottom. No return for that now since it has been damaged and i have no idea what to do with it. I have resigned myself to the fact that I am stuck with the incorrect footboard which as it turns out will probably end up working better for the room as it is about 6 inches shorter. However I believe, as I was not told any different, that the correct footboard costs more than the one I received. Read moreWeeks within receiving our two chairs and ottoman the fabric color completely bleached out where water, diluted dish soap, and a cleaning fabric came in contact. They tested the fabric and said it was not defective. ALL but one cleaning product was recommended for cleaning by the brand. They blamed the stains on the fabric cleaner and did not acknowledge the stains from water and the diluted dish soap. When Herman’s tried to recreate the stains on their own fabric with our bottle of fabric cleaner they could not recreate the stain, the stain only happened on the defective fabric given to us. We have used this same bottle on many of our furniture fabrics and clothing and it has never left a stain. Herman's resolution was for us to pay for new slip covers at cost, however we do not think it is fair to give Herman’s more money because they gave us defective fabric. It is also not reasonable to purchase new fabric that would likely have the same staining issues. The couch is also frayed along the seam after one wash.
We have been very patient and kind and have given them almost a year to resolve this issue and they have not.

Read moreI ordered a Bradington Young sofa and two swivel chairs August 2021. I was quoted a March 2022 delivery.
Two months into the order, the sales rep called me saying the leather was discontinued even though it was a current choice when I placed the order and I wasn't notified then of any issues.
There were significant delays in the order. The Hermans sales rep did not provide timely information about the delays instead I had to call the store repeatedly for information.
Ten months into the order the sales rep called to say the swivel was "unavailable and they didn't know when it would be in stock" and they asked if I wanted to cancel the order...(really after waiting 10 months).
Finally the sofa was delivered after 1 full year of waiting. The swivel chairs took another month. I asked the owner for a discount due to delays and more importantly poor information from the store.
At this point after the chairs were in the Hermans store the owner Threatened to Cancel my order and only agreed to deliver the chairs based on no store level warranty even though Bradingtons policy is 1 year warranty.
I had a terrible experience working with Herman's especially with the threatening message from the owner.
