I've been coming here since we moved to Perrysburg 4 years ago- I came here because it was Aveda. I have been bounced to so many stylists because they quit and I have had to pivot and accept new ones. I did.... I got my whole family to come as well and they have been bounced around as well. This was my last straw.... I scheduled my appointment specifically before an event I had when I arrived they said are you sure you scheduled at this place? are you new here? to which I said no and was very nice about the fact they couldn't find me in the system. She finally said let me look you up by your phone number. She said " oh, you do come here- but we have no appointment for you today maybe you didn't go online to book?" No, I actually can't book online with a partial highlight I called... when did you call? I called two weeks ago after I looked online to make sure Amanda (who was new to me) was available before I called. Hmmm.... I will have to check and see who was taking appointments that day and get back with you. I left- very very mad but didn't say anything because I assumed they would at least admit their mistake. I got to the parking lot and realized I had their call in my history. I came back and showed them my call history ( on my phone) was 7-21-2025 at 11:07am and the one assistant manager said " oh, that would have been me who took the call" and I do know you come here . yep, I recognize your face but don't know how to say your last name- wow... not sure how this happened the other girl said " we are both the assistant managers here so I'm sure it wasn't us but mistakes happen." They didn't offer me ANYTHING ... two assistant managers who clearly were on duty and one took my appointment and forgot to put it into the system. I said " whoever I talked to said Amanda isn't comfortable with a color change" I said " I don't need a color change, just a partial highlight " and I reiterated that to the assistant manager who turned bright red like she knew she messed up. My family spends a lot of money here and I will say... they messed up and not offering anything to apologize and own up to all of the things- even the fact I accepted new stylists after they kept quitting....this just added to everything. I would not recommend this place...
Read moreI really enjoy Sarah! I walked in 5 minutes before my appointment gave my name at the check encounter. There was some confusion as the appointment behind me was with someone with the same first name. I was not checked in properly, and sat in the lobby waiting. When Sarah came up to greet me, she informed me I was not checked in and she was not aware I was here. My appointment was at 11:00 and I was taken to her chair between 11:15 and 11:20. I had booked the appointment online for a full foil and a haircut. I had informed her what I wanted done. Instead of getting a full foil, I walked away paying for a partial highlight. I wanted a lot more blonde added to my hair, and I was a little disappointed upon coming home. My total time in the salon was 3 hours, I absolutely adore my stylist, and my haircut! But I feel very underwhelmed by the blonde I walked away with. I definitely feel like there was some confusion with booking online and the service I received in the store. I love the color but was wanting more blonde. I paid and left a tip, but did not ask for anything extra due to her next one being in the lobby. I do like the color but wish I would have received what I booked. I will be back to see Sarah before we go on our trip this fall. This review was not left to speak negative about sarah. It is feedback to allow for others to make sure they are getting what they book If they utilize...
Read moreI recently visited Salon Hazelton as a new customer after my regular salon didn't survive the shut down, I had my hair colored and cut. The woman who did my color was friendly and very experienced. I enjoyed my time with her. The one who cut my hair was super nice, but she was a newer stylist, and didn't want to cut my hair where I normally part it, which is causing me some issues with styling it now as it looks uneven. Its as short as I'll go, so I will have to deal for now. It was a little more expensive than I'm used to paying, by about $30. Im sure it has something to do with having two different people, one for color, one for cuts. Then you also have to tip double. For me, since I wasn't satisfied with the cut, the entire experience wasn't that great. If I'd walked out of there absolutely thrilled with my hair, I could see spending the extra money, and I'd do it again. For now my search for a new...
