One of the top 3 pizza places in the greater Toledo area, only certified Neopolitan pizzeria in Ohio. Watching them build and bake a wood-fired pizza is such fun, truly pizza artistry - oven is so hot it cooks in ~90 seconds. Build your own salad can definitely be a meal (and then some). Siracha bleu cheese brussel are our favorite restaurant brussel sprouts. Sandwiches are all good (love their mushroom provolone burger) and the accompanying house made chips are delicious. Wine list isn’t super extensive but they have some really good options. Draft list changes regularly. Wait staff always friendly. Only complaint about 5th Street is it’s loud (not enough sound absorbing material) and carrying on a conversation with anyone other than the person right next to you is difficult.

Great fresh pizza! Watch them work the fire oven while you wait for your order. Tonight was the 4 cheese and was scrumptious with the basil and bacon!! Service was attentive without being pushy. Only a few when we arrived Saturday but by 530 the place was packed. Very popular with locals. The photo is of one of their many delish appetizers. Highly recommended... Update: came back for the 2025 Perrysburg Winterfest, and while it was a balmy 18 degrees outside, this place was yet again packed. First time I arrived I thought the place was busy because the weather was nice and people wanted a good pizza. I now realize that this is just a place that locals absolutely love, period.

Ordered the meatball and the real deal Margherita pizzas. Both excellent BUUUT the Margherita was definitely lacking on basil. 4 pieces for the whole pizza. Pizza is cut into 4 large pieces, so we're taking one bite tastes like basil. When I think of Margherita pizza, I think of basil. Other than that, or server ( Kaylie- she was beary, beary wonderful... inside joke) was absolutely top notch and made the experience awesome, and the food was very, very good. Also... the beers on tap were a great selection and change often. Can I just say that the Juniper Brewing Seven Story Mountain oat ale was totally awesome.

Placed a pick up order for George with Ashley/"The manager" around 11:40 am on Tuesday September 24 2024. I ordered the 'Real Deal Margherita' pizza and the 'picantizza' pizza. Both were disgusting. Halved cherry tomatoes just thrown about all over the Margherita pizza not even cooked. 2 tiny pieces of basil on the whole pizza. Cherry tomatoes were literally raw and just falling off of the pizza. Half the pizza had no cheese on it? Like literally no cheese on half the pizza. The Picantizza was even nastier. Salami Picante was still cold! Just handfuls of diced up meat thrown all over the pizza under cold barely melted cheese. Looked like cold square pieces of Canadian bacon/ham. Nothing was cooked. Just thrown about all over the pizza straight from the fridge. The banana peppers are still hard and crunchy and bright green not even cooked a little bit. Nothing is cooked but the crust. Called back for a refund 15 minutes after picking it up. Ashley answers with the worst attitude ever and tells me she'll give me a refund. I asked her over the phone on speaker infront of my whole family if she would like us to bring back these 2 disgusting dripping wet cold pizzas with everything undercooked and she told me "No, because we'll just throw it away anyways." I said great, I'll send my fiance back for the refund. My fiance and my mother in law leave to go get the refund and upon arrival are met with hostile Ashley, who lies and says she told us to bring back the pizzas? My whole family is in town and we all sat around the phone and heard every word she said. I offered to bring back the pizzas and she told me not to, and told me they would just throw them away anyways. On top of the food being absolutely disgusting, the manager is a liar and super rude. Nasty attitude, deceitful, and no professionalism what so ever. Looks my fiance dead in the face and blatantly lies and says she told me to bring the pizzas back. News flash angry Ashley, my whole family including my fiance sat around the phone on speaker and heard you tell me that you did NOT want the pizzas back and you would just throw them away anyways. So the whole display of hostility in the middle of your dining room was absolutely uncalled for. The tomatoes are still hard bright red and falling off of the pizza not even cooked. Sqaure pieces of meat are just cold falling off of the pizza. Just ridiculous. Dripping wet. Gross. Don't go here. Manager will literally lie straight to your face. Honestly its just to create a confrontation and try to make you look stupid infront of the whole restraunt. This is what you'll go through if you ever do happen to come back for a refund after getting disgusting undercooked food. Ashley, your establishments food let a whole family down today and the lying etc is totally uncalled for. Makes the situation a million times worse. Defintely an ego thing. Ashley, get a new job. Customer service is not for you. You're a compulsive liar and insanely rude. Don't tell customers one thing over the phone and then lie and try to embaress them infront of your staff when they arrive for a refund. Pretty scummy thing to do to good paying customers who just wanted some good lunch to eat with their elderly parents. Do you really think my family wanted to call back for a refund? Or wanted to take a whole drive back to your restraunt? Ruined our lunch and our day. Learn how to treat people with respect why does the owner continue to allow you to work for him and ruin his business? I see the other reviews about you I think your new name should be "Angry Ashley" or maybe "Lying Ashley". Owner should look up my order and get my phone number and call me. Still have these 2 nasty pizzas, but I'm not taking a third drive to your restraunt after all the inconvenience with not only the food but the customer service. Angry Ashley apparently processed the refund.. I guess my family will wait and see. Sad. Place has potential but cook makes food like he doesn't care and Ashley manages the place like she hates the very customers who make her paycheck...

I'm torn about this review because the food and the beer were both outstanding. Our server, Amanda, however, was the worst I've ever had. I give so much grace to restaurants right now because of the staff shortages, but this was beyond that. I don't even know where to start with this girl, but when I come back (and I will!), I will ask specifically to sit anywhere but in her section.

I LOVE the beer selection! The wine is meh, but if you are a craft beer fan, this is a great place for you. Pizza is killer, salad was delicious, food came out quickly. Aside from our server, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

UPDATE: someone below mentioned a rude, snotty bartender and we had the same experience. There were two bartenders working and one was just plain rude. Rude isn’t even the right word - argumentative, dismissive, refused to answer questions, refused to help with anything. There was another girl working who was so so nice, I’m sure she has become accustomed to compensating for that hideous other bartender. 5th St. would do well to clean house of bad staff and the general public would do well to just accept that waiting longer because of understaffing is part of the current dining culture. No shorter wait time is worth the two terrible staff people we encountered. Truly the worst I’ve ever encountered anywhere I’ve eaten in the...

Horrible service! And slow! EDIT... I felt bad that I didn't explain since I am a restaurant person. It EASILY took 15 minutes to order at the bar, with 10 people at the bar around 4pm. Not prime hours. Then took about 30 minutes too get a hoagie/Italian sub and chips with "feta" dressing. Bun was toasted to the point of wrecking the roof of my mouth; the dressing, which dripped everywhere and was all over the OUTSIDE of the bun, was tasteless! The homemade chips were blah so the only flavors I got were the meats (salt and spices) and skin from the roof of my mouth. I was never asked how the food was or asked if I wanted a refill on my soda and had to stand after finishing, putting my dirty napkins on the plate, pushing my plate and empty beverage to the front of the bar, to get the attention of the bartender only to get scrutinized for putting my card on the edge of the bar. "If it falls in the corner, it will be lost forever". Um, cover the damn hole! So, on an about 40 minute time limit, it took a good hour, outside of dinner hour, to get a sub and chips. I was really excited to try 5th St after doing appetizers and drinks one night. Will never go back...
