I’ve tried this place a couple times before and this time was rough. I feel like the downfall was when I ordered a water, the waitress seemed irritable after that and we were nervous to ask for too much. The restaurant was pretty much empty with us and maybe 3 other tables. The ketchup was empty at our table so instead of bothering the waitress or waiting, I got up to switch it out for a fuller one at the empty bar and the waitress comes out of the kitchen and runs over and snatches the empty ketchup out from the bar table.
We ordered the jalapeño bacon balls to start, which Ive had before and they came out right away and were cold not even a little warm. We asked if they could be heated up and they brought us a new order. The breading was hot when you picked it up but the middle was still cold. If the food doesn’t come out cold already here, it will quickly get cold at your table..it’s the middle of winter but yet we have the air conditioning on.
The tenders were also pretty rough. They came out hot thankfully but were chewy and hard to take a bite off of which was weird. We wanted just regular bbq sauce for them but they only have honey bbq here. We still gave it a try and it was gross, it didn’t even taste sweet at all just bitter.
I’m sick of wasting my money on bad food. I only come to Perrysburg a couple times a year to visit family and we’re learning that Perrysburg and the surrounding areas have...
Read moreThis place looks amazing inside. We loved the atmosphere of the place, and the wait staff was great as well.
We ordered a beer flight, and for us, the beer was just ok. We only tried 4 different beers, so next time, we will try a different kind.
As for the food....we went on a Sunday, and it was before 2 p.m. So it was a limited Sunday brunch menu. My wife and I split the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. We have very different views. Lol. She loved it. On the other hand, I didn't care for it at all. I thought it had very little flavor, and there was nothing really hot about it. The only real taste was the overabundance of pickles that was on it. The chicken was tender, but that's about all. Like I said above, my wife loved it, though. We ordered the french fries with it, and those had a good flavor. They were seasoned well and crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside.
We will be back to give it another shot on a different day that doesn't have a limited menu. If you haven't tried it, just from the atmosphere and the friendly staff, I would give it a try. I'm looking forward to trying a different...
Read moreHave wanted to try the beers and food for a very long time but the drive to Sylvania from my South Toledo home never motivated me, especially with the great Earnest Brew Works in my neighborhood. But the new Perrysburg location was just the ticket for my wife and I on a post-Christmas outing without the kids. Repurposed space was very modern and good atmosphere. Place was full and there was a wait for a table but fortunately another couple had left their seats at the bar as we were walking in and staff was disinfecting the 2 seats there and we sat right down. Many house beers on tap including several seasonal beers. Had the smoked wings with honey sriracha sauce, very tasty $10. for a healthy portion. Spouse had grilled chicken sandwich with house made potato chips and she said it was excellent. Beers samples included an Irish Red Ale, malty and smooth; an Imperial Stout with vanilla and coffee that was out of this world; and a cranberry Holiday Xmas ale that went down well. Friendly service at the bar with knowledgeable bartenders. Glad we went and we will be back to try more beers and menu...
