Bought 2 poster frames from their website for a buy one get one free deal. Went to pick them up and realized the frames I bought were cheap flimsy frames I didn't like. I asked the clerk if the better frames were on sale for the same deal. She said yes they were. At checkout she said I owed her 51 dollars. I said the difference in price is 21 dollars. Finally, after a managers intervention, she explained I was getting a refund for 51 dollars because I returned the 2 I didn't like. I said OK but the clerk wasn't very clear about what was happening. Yarn section is okay, but lacks any unique and natural high quality yarns.
Good seasonal items and lots of adorable craft supplies of many medias.
Custom framing available and classes periodically on different techniques in the crafting world.
Down side is a lack of qualified, educated staff on the products they sell. Most often the consumers will know as much about the craft they are purchasing for as the help.

Even with there 40% off 1 item your more then likely to find that item online, or Amazon for half. Example the other day I bought prisma colors markers, discounted with 40% off. Found the same ones on Amazon half of the discounted rate, so I was able to buy double the marker set and still under what I paid at Michael's.
